New day, new mini-event in Springfield! Yes, Superheros are back! The all-new mini-event has hit our towns with a super theme. Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Hot Flash to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding the newest superhero to your town…

Premium:
Meh, not sold on this one. I think the price tag puts it in the pass column. Just overpriced for who she is/what’s included. I think it’s a pass, even if you’re a premium player
Freemium:
Pass. Way overpriced for a standalone character.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’m passing. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now). Also, since this is an item that helps with the event, it’s better to pick this up sooner rather than later if you plan to grab it. This way you maximize the event currency earning throughout the entire event.

I’m passing on this. Thought Alice Glick was included with Hot Flash as an alternate skin, but that’s not the case, which is kinda dumb. Also too pricey since she doesn’t come with a building/decoration. Besides, I’m trying save donuts for Halloween. Speaking of which, the upcoming THoH mega-event better be a massive improvement over last year’s disaster of an event.
I’m considering it to finish the group with gramps and moleman, but it is super high priced. I admit I am a bit confused about if it is an actual character or just a costume. :/ I don’t want to buy a costume for a character I’m not certain I have…

Kinda regret this purchase. Did it before the SIB, thought maybe she’d have her alter-ego Alice as another skin or even a visual task.
Speaking of tasks…60 minutes gets a visual one? That’s sorta odd. It’s usually 4/8/12. Can’t remember the last time I sent characters on 60 minute tasks, except when my finger slips.
Does she streek around town like the real flash or walk a bit fast, would buy her if she moved very fast around town with lightning trailing behind her lol
It does appear unusual to purchase a character in a skin… and not have the actual character… I’m sure most tappers would sensibly give Alice Glick the flick. I did decide to buy her and she is okay but not really worth the donuts… just couldn’t help myself 😛 I’d suggest you save your sprinkles for Halloween.

I will wait for hot flash in a mystery box. For 50 donuts preferably. From all the mini-event store content I am only buying the moleman. I was holding off buying him waiting for a deal exactly like the one offered. Delicious deal. 60 donuts, a character, a skin and a boost for current mini event! You gotta love that.
Wierd that they offer a desirable character and a skin for 60 sprinklies and an relatively unknown stand alone character(in only a skin) for 150. Who comes up with this stuff?
Hot Flash
It’s nice to have a surprise Premium Character available during an Event or Mini Event …. but 150 sprinkles is too much (I expect that price for a Building Character Combo, this should’ve been 60 Donuts, EA!) I guess I’m with those Tappers who are becoming more choosey about how they spend their currency in the Game App. 🤷🏼♂️
I want to get her just to have her, but I don’t know that I can justify 150 donuts this close to Halloween. Good thing we have time to decide. Maybe if I farm enough by the end I might pick her up.
Bought right away. Bizarre that one would pass in light of the skin crap usually offered? (Like we really need the 27th skin for Homer?)
Ditto most of the usual “game” options. Plus better than the 3 Eyed Whale!!!
We never to get to even enjoy Homer’s 27 skins because he is forever on event tasks.

If it had a premium building or lower price point, maybe. It will come around next year at ~70 donuts in a mystery box.

At this price point when it doesn’t include Alice? Not even gonna think about it. Total pass.
Waiting on the SiB for Grandpa’s skin, but I think since I have a premium one for him (having grabbed the Stonecutters one when offered in January), it’s probably a pass and I’ll make it out having only spent 60 for Moleman. There’s nothing in my MB I want enough to even attempt it, and the more I can save for Halloween – or Christmas, which is usually my big donut drop for the year – the better.
No way, EA! Maybe I would’ve thought harder about it if the visual tasks were longer than 1 & 4 hours. Still, EA has been reaching really hard lately. Hope the Halloween event is EXTRA great, or I’m skipping it.

This is a pass for me. My shopping spree is gone, and I decided to skip her even before I realized, thanks to this article, that there isn’t even a building 😂 there’s no excuse for this pricing.

This is a pass for sure. I might have been tempted if this was Mrs Glick and a skin for hot flash combo, but just hot flash, no thanks.
Also this mini event is kind of a let down. I’m glad they are doing a super heroes reboot again without it being a full event, but they dropped the ball with what they could have brought back in items. Both super heroes events I missed a lot of items and characters, but the mystery box has so few of what I don’t have (only 3 in my box are Fruitbat Man, the Asylum and Dr. Crab). Where are Wind Lad and Citizen Solar, The Scout Master, The Fracker, Clobber Girl & Stretch Dude or Milo & Coolsville? Plus this could have been a perfect time to re-release the Hi-Glow waste barrels.
Oh well, time to save up sprinkles for Halloween! 🎃
New vault next week..maybe they will be included then?

Sorry, off topic question…I’ve searched my inventory a couple times for the extra observation platforms (for the zoo) that I bought and can’t find them. I even went back thru all (!) the zoo blogs to see if I could find out if they were called something else…no luck there either. Anybody know what their “inventory name” is, and what section they’re stored in?
Finally found it at the end of the inventory…Zoo Viewing Platform. 🤪
I had that problem too because I was looking for the animal statues I stored and they also appeared at the end of the inventory.
Pity the remaining upgrades weren’t available, I still had a few animals to get???
Someone posted a warning on another thread that they stored their habitats, nuked and lost all of their upgrades including the animals so beware!
So far, at least group storage doesn’t seem to be a problem with the zoo stuff…have group stored each set of enclosures by type and they’re pulling out ok. Thanks for the heads up😁.
