Last few days of the newest installment of Superheroes are coming up (ends Wednesday), what do you think will hit next? Personally, I think we’ll see a teaser and then Halloween next week…but that’s just me. It is the last week of Sept, so you never know…
As I just mentioned, it’s the last week of September, which means…Halloween is quickly approaching! What do you think the TSTO Halloween Event will bring to Springfield? What are your ideas for your own Halloween? Costume plans? Still working on our costume ideas here…
And finally, how about the rest of your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting? Enjoying the first days of Fall? (Christmas will be here before you know it!)

Thanks Patric for answering my anniversary question. I’ve watched a few old Nordic Trac commercials last night. I never noticed the music until last night when I listened for it. That can apply to a lot of what we find in life.

I binge watched the whole series…loved it! It doesn’t have the heart of The Simpsons, but it’s pretty funny. Would make a fun sims game…lots of different “worlds” within the show…but it’s a little early in the series. That said…if they made an app, I’d definitely give it a try. 😁
It’s a bit slow, but I think that the platform to make an entire, structured story season in one sitting is really fun for Groening. Once the show picks up the pace and it finds its footing, it’s one of the most unapologeticly funny shows. I think season 2 will be where it shines but for now you can have a lot of fun with season 1.

Hi everyone, I recently got myself the Hans Moleman bundle, my question is about the classic Moleman.
His quests in my town pop up without preliminary dialogues… flip burgers… clean nuclear plant… etc etc
Is it normal or do I have a glitch going on?

No glitch, all the really old premiums are like that. Frink and Duffman are the same, just tasks, no dialogue.

Not particularly, i love the dialogue, because its the Simpsons! Why send Everyman to work at the Kwik-E-Mart, if i dont know why?
Sometimes I simply don’t have the time for them. Often I am just logging in quickly to send certain characters on their grinding tasks because that is what all events have become now in the game. Grind and grind. I may only have a minute or two before leaving for work or something. Then I am hit with a long dialog which I just zap through without reading anyway.
Top of my TSTO Wish List: another monorail station (or 2!)
I’d love to rearrange my track, but with so few stations (relatively) it’s hard to make it work. It doesn’t help that one (Tetanus Station) is so horrible you can’t really put it too many places! And I don’t want to nuke my town just to re-jigger the monorail!
BTW, I broken the loop, and moved the Tetanus Station to one end of the line, then disguised it with Springfield Heights pieces… doesn’t look much like a station, but it works like one, at least!

So we don’t know for certain how things will play out, but it usually goes update on a Wednesday that triggers a teaser of the upcoming event and then the full blown event launches roughly a week later, correct?
Hey everyone, I have an issue. A daily quest popped up a few days ago to tap krustyland visitors, which is no longer possible. Will they release a fix to get rid of this quest?

I got the same task and started it before thinking…my Krustyland is all stored. Took me 2 days to get enough points from the 6 visitors still wandering my town.
I just put one of my characters that has an 8 hour task with the reward of krustyland tickets rather than cash and when it was done it let me collect the daily prize.
Should have thought of that…smarty!😁👍
You can also complete the quest by collecting from anything that generates Krustyland tickets.

Thought of the week since I just got a new IPhone XS ……… why Havn’t EA updated the IOS app to accomidate for the notch yet ? The IPhone X been out for ages.
While driving back to San Diego from Phoenix I got to thinking how many places have I tapped since playing this game. San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas, LA, Lom Poc Ca, Lake Tahoe, Alaska, Hawaii, Tulsa Ok, Vancouver, Dallas, Houston, Asheville NC, Pigeon Forge TN, Palm Springs, NYC, Newark NJ, Bakersfield CA, The Quad Cities Iowa, Phoenix, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Chicago. I’ve played the game in the ocean in Curacao, at top of a small mountain in Kauai, under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, at home in California, in hotel room in Indianapolis, on a cross country road trip from through the southwest to Kansas, and many more places. I guess I’m totally addicted to the game!
Kind of amazing is it not, my list including many spots in the USA, also down the west coast of South America, Chile, Japan, Russia, across the Bering Sea, Alaska and then home to my home state this spring. Kind of fun to think about it. We all are addicts on this site.

I concur with Wesley; My main game has been played since the first week of the game & my secondary since just a few months before the dreaded Easter wheel. I’ve spent money on the game over all those years.
Whilst I found the movie “Pleasantville” quite appealing; I’ve only ever seen it once. To view anymore would be boring!
I’m a senior citizen from Australia; I’m not some crazy teen that needs to collide events together to keep me mentally occupied. I wish this scenario would stop!
I really hate the placement zones for events. It stifles my creativity & makes the areas look a mess. Then no downtime between events means I can’t fix this easily!
Sometimes my game lags due to your lack of foresight for event requirements (FYI – I still have all those roller coaster speedway & other bits stored – along with the crappy trenches & bits from another event).
It’s gotten so bad I don’t even bother remembering the names of the events anymore! Long gone are the days when events that rolled around were real events – Like Halloween; Xmas; Easter & such.
I guess I’m missing something. How do I find the Worldwide Broadcast Dish? I really want it to unlock the 12-hour task at Channel 6 News. Please edumacate me. I don’t have it in storage. I’m puzzled.

I haven’t noticed this before, but under Town Building there is a Land Expansion icon with a Buy. You can’t currently buy anything unless you already have a free land token, but maybe in the future? Or has it been there all along?

Just a couple of cycles away from getting the Everyman animation. I’ll probably keep the superhero/villains out until after Halloween. My Radioactive Man statue is in Krustyland Studios as a movie set so I’ll probably keep that area of town active until the THOH event kick off.
I’ve been lazily tooling around (re)designing different parts of my Springfield: Evergreen Terrace, KISland, the Zoo, casually working on a Rigellian cornfield maze and a Christmas candyland. I dont want to get into much Halloween decorating until the event is launched and I decide where to start placing content. Please EA no more bonus percentage areas, no more bonus percentage areas, NO MORE BONUS PERCENTAGE AREAS! noooooo more bonusss % areas, no morrrre…no beer and more percentage areas make Sarah go Craaaazy!

What is easiest way to get rid of furniture in Springfield Heights? I’m overrun and often need to make more for daily challenges. Help please!
You can’t store it in inventory?
Sadly no. It’s a “project” like the yoga mats, etc.😢 I can use it to upgrade buildings and to make other things, I’m just out of things I need. I suppose I can store buildings I’ve already purchased but don’t want to start the whole thing over again.
Sorry I misunderstood what you meant, you need to buy stuff to open up room in your inventory , I think jet skis open the most, put fences, bushes, whatever requires buying “furniture” around your properties. Go to the store, tap yellow arrow, look for SH gates, tap icon and look for items for sale by furniture. Sorry if I over explained, but for everyone who asks, there are many with the same question who stay silent. Happy Tapping.

Buy palm trees and small plants, and then store them…they always come in handy for decorating.
Other solution options: Skip the challenge by (X)-ing it or use the Googolplex cinema to produce furniture.
There’s a Springfield heights store area where you can spend heights currency. You can buy trees and decorations and boats and all that with your heights currency and then store it if you’d like, or you could get on a mission of upgrading all your heights buildings until you unlock Paris Texan if you have not already.
You can delete the challenge if it comes up, hopefully getting a better option in the next one. Also, there are lots of items to spend furniture on … then put into storage.
I always buy the small golden plants if I need to get rid of furniture. They give a nice chunk of real estate points (if you still need them); they are small and easy to use as decorations in your swanky part of town. Or you can just put them into your inventory…

I’d settle for an actual “Halloweeny” event since last year was such a bust.
True but I like my Angelica Button Wizarding school, it’s kind of a launch point to my winter holiday area. Tappers also hated the Chthulu themed Halloween, not me. I love me some HP Lovecraft.. Nothing is going to make all Tappers happy, but EA came really close last Christmas event. Let’s hope they took notes.
I also love my “Buttons” world…it’s still really too big for my town, but there’s nothing I want to store, and now I’ve expanded the town area to include all the Mythical Creatures zoo. I just would have preferred it as a seperate event, not taking the place of Halloween. I’m up for a real creepfest this year👿👹👽💀.😁

Ten days into our new kitchen renovation…new floors went down on Friday and we love the light gray “slate” (actually ceramic, so more durable). The whole kitchen will be in different shades of gray and stainless steel. The walls are now a dove gray and the cabinets and trim will be in white…the only color is a sea-glass pale green small subway tile for all the backsplashes. The accents and pictures will be green botanical prints and my sister found a couple beautiful watercolors of crabs and oysters in baskets for one wall. The cabinets go in tomorrow and the appliances go in Wednesday, so…if all goes well, the counters (dark gray marble) will go in on Friday and we’ll be back in business. Been cooking in the laundry room for ten days and it’s not been that bad (butane burner, microwave, and convection toaster oven in there), but it will be nice to have access to all my spices etc. that are all packed away until the reno is finished. Getting pretty tired of “heat and serve”, so tonight is going to be a fresh cream of mushroom soup with wild rice (if I can find the wild rice in all the boxes) with crusty rolls and a honeydew/blueberry salad with mint. Mmmmm…not Stouffers…😋.
Will post some pictures when it’s all done, but for now…still living with the dust and noise for another week. It’ll be worth it…a refridgerator that doesn’t hum (loudly) and a stove where the timer and broiler actually work…be still my heart👍😁.

Sounds like a perfect kitchen, I like to cook and spend ages cooking for my family, especially Sundays, enjoy when it’s complete.

Hi Ebron, I’m in “renovation hell” as well. Actually, it’s quite fun. I’m a nester, and just love decorating my house. My cousin and his wife were going to come stay with me for a week, so I scrambled to get the guest room done. New, carpet, crown molding, new paint, new bed, new dresser and night table, and just waiting for the Roman shades to be delivered and installed. It looks great! But guess what? They CANCELED! Yep, they live in North Carolina, and all the roads are flooded… so…. anyone want to come visit me? I have a brand new beautiful guest room! Can’t wait to see some pics of your new kitchen.
Sounds wonderful…we did the 3 bathrooms and the laundry room all together a few years ago and have been waiting on doing the kitchen till we both retired (takes a lot of oversight that we couldn’t make time for before). Cabinets are just coming in now…they are much nicer than I expected, the frosted glass inserts in some of the doors was a last minute addition and I’m really glad we went for it.

Does anybody else’s righteousness rating keep randomly dropping down to 0 stars? I’m not sure if that’s supposed to be happening or if it’s a bug. Please let me know if you know why this is happening or if this is happening to you.
It did this to me a couple times. Id buy and hide some training walls around town. Other times it would just go back up on its own in a couple days. More weirdness of the game i guess.
Do your neighbors vandalize you? It might be causing drops in righteousness. Place some training walls (you can hide them behind buildings) to keep your righteousness up.
It has to do with a variety of things, including crooks doing bad tasks in your town and tagging from your neighbors. You can fix it by purchasing training walls (red) from the store…they will offset any negative stuff and your rating will remain steady.😁
It happens all the time. Not a real problem since you can KEM farm and buy Mystery Boxes for Bonus %, .5% is not something to worry about. But if you like all stars you can buy a lot of training walls to prevent it from going down.
It happened to me after getting tagged by neighbours a few too many times. The ranking went back up after buying a lot of Training Walls which I hid behind bigger buildings.
Your buildings are getting vandalized by neighbors. Either remove your neighbors with the history of vandalizing or buy a lot of training walls and hide them somewhere in your town.
Search the site for a vandilization free friend board, usually people are pretty good about but there’s a few duds.
Are Friends tagging your buildings? If you purchase and place enough Training Walls the Righteousness rating will become impregnable. I just hide them behind buildings.

So another dry week for us but I’m hoping for a bit of rain during the week as has been forecast. One of the locals who walks past my office daily keeps telling me not to worry as the rains will come in October so I’m hoping that she is right! 😄 A quiet weekend as far as watching rugby goes but next weekend sees the continuation of the rugby championship with us, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand which I am looking forward to – let’s hope we can continue some of the good form at home 😄
Played some tennis on Friday and Saturday which was great fun and since we have a public holiday tomorrow I might get to play some more! Tomorrow is Heritage Day which has become known as National Braai Day – a braai is our version of a barbeque but which we consider far superior to anything found elsewhere in the world, especially to that in the USA. Not sure if I will actually braai but one member of the club made a vague suggestion that maybe we combine tennis and a braai tomorrow so it might happen after all 😄
The mini event and all related quest lines are done. And, believe it or not, I have actually designed not only my I&SL but also my zoo!!! 😄 My stitching app is being temperamental and refusing to stitch so I’ve only included a screenshot of a portion of it but I enjoyed using the slides to feed the shark so that’s the one I’ve used 😊 Looking forward to the Halloween event although I don’t have any idea what it might be but I’m ready!!! 😄

When do you guys think Halloween is going to start? I really want it to start on Wednesday… But like Alissa I think we’ll have another week before it starts.

I only started playing around this time last year, so was not really in a position to buy much at Halloween last year. I get the feeling its a bit is a big deal around here ? Should I be saving my donuts for this?
I think the most popular events of the year are Halloween and Christmas. I save up tons of donuts for Halloween every year. It’s easily my favorite.
I must be the only one that doesn’t like Halloween.. I don’t care for the event or the holiday. I like my Springfield to be somewhat “realistic”.. well.. as realistic as Springfield can be. Now Christmas is fun…
I was the same until I had my own kids, both of whom love halloween, my older daughter is actually quite good at doing horror makeup!
That and Christmas are the most anticipated events of the year. Yes, you want donuts, many donuts- because between Halloween and Christmas comes Black Friday weekend, doubtless as a newbie there are many items you’ve been coveting in neighbors towns, that will be up for sale on discount.

By my reckoning, the last four THOHs started on the first Tuesday of October; however, the last several Events have started on Wednesdays. Something has to give but that would trend toward 10/2 or 10/3.
My guess is that Wednesday we will have either a preview event for a week like we did with the Time Travelling Toaster or perhaps an episode Tie-In event. Then after that week we will roll in to THOH XXIX. At any rate I am building up donuts for it myself so I am hoping THOH XXIX doesn’t disappoint.
