Just a quick reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday, September 26th) marks the end of the Super Powers mini-event! So, if you haven’t already, finish up that prize track, purchase your last few premium items and be prepared to see the mini-event leave our games tomorrow morning! (and hopefully, something new arrives in its place)

Hi I can’t seem to Finnish the radioactive ooze. I’ve had the characters collect more than I need. When I tap on the icon nothing happens but freezes my screen.

Has anyone heard anything back from EA? I put in a ticket and usually they are good at answering but this time nothing back yet.

I didn’t get a chance to complete the prize track, so now Everyman just has 1 4-hr task that can only earn XP, no cash or ooze. The rest are blanked out because a “Quest” is required which hasn’t triggered.
Yep! Sucks! I also was on the last task (animation) and I wasn’t totally worried that I was gonna be sleeping when the timer ran out as mini events have been saying you can still finish the task you’re on to collect that prize. When I woke and opened my game, it did say just that! The event icon is still there, but when you open it, nothing happens when you tap on the task button. In fact, when I open the event icon my screen locks and I can’t move around my Springfield. The only way I can make it unlock is by tapping to go to whatever character icon that is ready to collect in the Go To area. When you tap on an “Oozeable” event kid/Frink/Moleman, it shows the task, but only XP pay out.
And yeah… they shouldn’t say “Don’t worry, you can still complete the task you are on to win it’s prize” and then NOT give us the means to do so.
Bad enough I to spend donuts on Disapproving Squirrel and have her task stuck. Makes me shudder to think what glitch is forthcoming with the next event!
I’m on the last task in mini event, it says I can still finish the task to earn its reward even though the event is over but when i click on “collect radioactive ooze” nothing happens. I only had 120 more to go, but now it’s defaulting at 0/450 even after i collected the characters finished jobs. Anyone has this problem that they can’t finish the mini event?
The timer has runout, so it’s over and the ability to earn ooze has left the game.
How can we clear the task if the characters can’t earn ooze
Flaw in the system…
Bit the notice came up saying we would be allowed to finish the last task we were on.
It zeroed out the ooze we earned and now the quest is still there.
You can individually send the characters on ooze quests but still nothing changes.
Contact EA…unfortunately that’s the best info I can give you
I’m having the same problem. It said that I could finish current task and earn current prize. However, it zeroed out my ooze and won’t let me earn more. I was at 485/500.
I sent message to EA. Maybe you should too.

Same here plus the questline for everyday man will not activate so half his quests are locked.
Contacted EA, as usual they’re bloody useless.
I’m seriously falling out of love with this game, it’s now becoming a nuisance and not enjoyable.
Same. Everyman is basically a glorified NPC. I’ll just have to store him and forget about him unless EA fixes this.
I gave this event a B “It was great with a few flaws”. The flaws for me were the lack of permanent tasks at the Drive-In and Odin’s and that Everyman has generic indoor tasks. Other than the flaws, it was a good event since I got the last prize on Friday and have been working on Everyman and Senor Ding Dong’s questlines afterwards. During the event, I finished my zoo design and will plan on adding Krustyland to my town since I still have most of the land tokens available from Krustyland getting nuked in June.
Do we have till the end of day Wednesday or will it end on the morning of Wednesday the 26th?
When the timer runs out…
Where did you see a timer? Mine only said “ends Sept 26”. No timer.
Premium items had a timer, also there were 3 pops in game over the last week and the last one said how much time you had left.
Just a thought:
If EA would allow us to purchase land with game cash again, there wouldn’t be nearly as much money available to farm doughnuts with.
Less doughnut FARMing could translate into more doughnut BUYing.
Did EA shot themselves in the foot with this land token only thing?
“It was great with a few flaws” Mini-Event for me because:
Nothing interrupted me from Kem Farming
I got a Voiced Character
I got another Funny Building
No grinding required
Weekends free from Tapping
Not much Land Wasted
One free Land Token
EA flawed on numerous things most Tappers agreed upon:
Sending Characters to the Brown House as a Task (again)
One And Done Character Task at Building (again)
Decor we have no space for (due to limits)
I gather EA could easily solve most of the valid complaints via patch updates. I’m not going to let it bother me, as I’m looking forward to then new Season of The Simpsons and if there will be an Episode Mini-Event before the Halloween Event begins.
The update is repeatedly reupdating on my game. Four times now. Any suggestions?

Debating whether to drop some donuts on the mystery box or hoard them for THOH. There’s nothing I’m just dying to have, but I’m always up for getting another character. My box includes P-Rex, Senor Ding Dong, Old King Coal, Dr. Crab and Fruit Bat Man (skin), plus Wholesome & Sons, Lenny’s Lab and the Asylum. Hmmmm …
It was good, not much grinding so more time for farming. Just got my all time high in donuts. Mmmmm.. mystery box..
Ever since the update my Fortune Teller building has disappeared and in its place is a glitchy mess. I just happened to be redesigning that area and noticed it immediately. I even deleted and redownloaded the game but the glitchy mess is still there. Is this happening to anyone else?
Yeah, took the day off of the game and came back to both Maude and Homer being locked out because they were on their joint quest. When I click on Maude my screen goes black except for the quest book area.
Yes! Me too! I tried selecting the building in design mode, but I can’t. It doesn’t register.
The mini event was ok I enjoyed it since it was my 1st one related to super heroes. Now I can’t wait to see what they have planned for THOH and the new character group in character collections has me boggled with it being a fortune teller from the episode that Lisa’s wedding.
Yay! Lt Smash went ‘shopping for doomsday supplies’ in front of the Stardust Drive-in and it was playing the movie ! Just need to keep him in that area.
Just had an update on my game, small download but no change or anything obvious on my game??? Wondering if it’s a fix for something or Halloween???

By the looks from I saw on the forums it might be the teaser for THOH being patched and ready for tomorrow. There is also a new character group in character collections but with only 1 character.
It was fun but in a world where “Marvel” has been synonymous with “movie” for 10 years I’m beyond burned out on freaking superheroes. I’d be fine with the genre taking a long vacation.
Wonder what the Halloween theme will be. I’d love some good hard sci-fi with killer robots, sovereign AIs and cyborg zombies 🙂
Probably will be mutant superheroes.
I’m wondering when the Halloween event will arrive. It seems too early. I’m thinking we will have a little down time for a week or two.

I also agree that we should be able to BUY land with our in game money! Why not? It would allow us to design in the direction that we would like to go. Also, would like to buy more land to extend along the SH side of the mountains. I have so much more that I would like to do there but am restricted. Would like to put my monorail through but I need the land to move some of the building over a bit to allow
the room for it. With the real money that I have inthis game, I feel really restricted in design. Please EA, let us open it up more in the direction that we would like to go. Sorry about the long rant, but

that we can have in OUR town!
If I don’t open the game and try to remember anything about this event besides Everyman & Hot Flash … I come up empty. Yes, mini events don’t usually add tons, but this was pretty meh. I think only people who needed tons of old superhero event cared about this one. I finished way early and forgot the event was still going. We didn’t even get bonus.
I like the characters and outfits a lot. The dialogue was funny. Everything else was meh…
As a freemium player, I’ll never complain about a game that provides entertainment. Maybe that makes me a “blissful ninny” in Patric’s words, but one benefit of this mini-event is plenty of time to KEM farm donuts. Just went over 1,000 donuts–bring on THOH 2018!
I still hate the fact that we can not buy land. We are going to have another event coming up and I don’t have enough land to add things or even finish setting up what I have. I have over $640 million and nothing to spend it on. Greedy EA, how about you let us buy land, give us items other then some new fences, and offer some characters for money instead of doughnuts. Just a thought for people who have been playing for years and are getting bored with tapping to earn money with nothing to spend it on. Also, bring back friendship prizes.
Yeah, the land is really a problem. I wouldnt mind if they made another SH expansion (that part of town is so assymetric now…) with land for SH currency instead of the tokens… Also another strip of water further from the beach would be nice. There are some items that look weird being so close to the shore.

Meh… grinding for nothing, really. The new drive-in could be cool, if EA gives a character a permanent task there. BRING ON THE TREEHOUSE OF HORROR!!! Spooky time in Springfield!
