It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Act 2 of Halloween started last week, how are you doing on the werewolf prize track? Any premium purchases? Where have you placed the werewolf items?
The Simpsons THOH Special airs tonight, will you be watching?

Yep me too… all my friends have run away. Weirder still… my mini anonymous Springfield has morphed. Lost a year’s worth of play & event goodies, premium goodies etc.. Going from level 150+ish down to 56. This is the strange the part. The town that shows now isn’t even my town!! It’s way smaller but has a few event stuff that I never had in it!! How does that even happen? Got a warranty replacement phone Oct last year. Started a new mini. Yet I now have a Superhero event headquarters & the battle tenement alley I never had, but no characters for it. WHAAAATT??? The only positive thing is all the DUPLICATE HEIGHTS (buildable) buildings that showed up during a past event glitch & were taking up precious room are gone. If only the glitch could’ve left everything I already earned, but deleted the DUPLICATE HEIGHTS buildings. This is especially irritating as it deleted my entire progress in this event. Ah well… I guess this gives me the incentive to uninstall it off my phone to free up space, & just play my big old game on my Kindle. It’s really cumbersome though.
Takes me 1-1/2 hours just to collect my town & re-task everyone (non event times. Event days, even longer.) Especially for this one as those ladies keep removing my Springfielders from their designated areas by turning them into minions. Even those that are already tasked. I task everyone, close down before bed & come back in the morning to find characters/minions in the event area. So frustrating as it’s hard & excruciatingly time consuming to manipulate them back where they belong.
Love that they give us land for events, but not that we can’t choose where. This event…. can’t even expand the event area as land next to it is locked & not available, so it’s so crowded there now. Last event, when I moved my event base out of the free area, it messed up stuff. *SIgh*
A few days ago, I stopped digging.
The bonus % is maxed at 35%
It is now 5 days out I still dont have she-wolf.
But I will soon. Because of the Flanders tomb, clearing werewolves and friend visits.
I have 300 pickaxes and hope to have 1000 to start the next act. All quests are saved for the next act to max the pickaxe generation.

Starting 2nd act I had 500 pickaxes and it got me half-way to the finish line. The rest has felt a bit grindy, so I hope to finish the last one off quick. (Love the event, though)
The only downside with this, is that it will take all day prob to spend all those pickaxes. Sheesh.
I received the She-Wolf in most of my games. Since I don’t need the Bonuts I have decided to wait to the quests until the next act. Anyone see any downsides to doing this?

I suspect ( though this is pure speculation ) that there is a spike in people playing the game due to the Halloween theme. I’ve been noticing an increase in server disconnections since the start of the Halloween event.-
I got a message saying that the EA network is down.
My friends has dissapeard (over 100 friends) does anyone else have the same problem

I wasn’t able to get into the game for a long time this morning and, now that I am in, all my neighbors have disappeared. EA — giving with one hand and taking away with the other.
It appears EA is partially down. My games has no friends and I am unable to log out.
One of my TSTO friends has way more than the allotted 10 modern mansions, was there a glitch / bug at some point that allowed people to buy more?
When group storage was introduced, I had stored all my SH buildings. When I went to retreive them they were all gone and were back in the store at level one. I repurchased some of them and started to level them up. Within a couple days, the SH groups were back and the store was back to normal, but I had a couple extra Modern Mansions and Classic Mansions that are still here. Could be your neighbor ran into the same thing and re-purchased a bunch of replacements before the glitch was fixed.
Is it me or the game is down? HELP 10/23/18
