Halloween is back in Springfield! Yes, the water is murky, the screen is slightly darker, monsters and minions are roaming our towns…is there anything better than Halloween in our pocket-sized towns? Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Monster’s Castle and Frankenstein’s Monster and Julienstein to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Stein trio to your town…

Premium or Freemium:
I like this combo regardless of player status. It’s two characters and a building for a decent price point. I think this is worth the pickup
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ll be picking this up before the event ends. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Glad I waited. Picked this up on discount for 150 donuts during the recent THoHXXXI 2020 event. 2 characters and a building for the price of one. That was a good deal.
I have so many castles. So many. I’ll probably pass on this.
Have to do it, as “Bride of Frankenstein” is one of my all-time fave Universal movies of the Whale era, and it just looks…delightful! I’m the occasional bonut farmer, but also like to throw a li’l cash at EA once a year to thank them for years of gaming enjoyment. Since this Halloween 300 came with Witchy wonders, that was all to the good. Hope I can find room for this near Burns’ and the Mad Doctor’s Castles- will be icing on the 🎂!
I love it, mostly for the way the castle looks when in use 🙂 I feel like one of the monsters looses a cool visual after they complete the quest line, but may be mistaken…. I do really like the castle though, and redid my castle area to accommodate the new one.

Would it kill EA to give us some more 24-hour visual tasks?

I liked this combo as soon as I saw it, and bought shortly after. Decent price for 2 characters, the building was kind of a bonus for me. (Would have grabbed the pair, even without the building)
I’m a KEM farmer, I can easily buy this combo but I won’t because
a) they are not central figures of Springfield &
b) I love a good bargain (I can easily see them being offered in a Mystery box or at rebate within a year’s time)

Monster’s Castle / Frankenstein’s Monster \ Julienstein
I have not spent the Sprinkles on this Building / Characters Combo, but I probably will during Act 3 (after I’ve obtained all 3 Mummies) as their Tasks look funny.
It’s been rewarding obtaining all 3 Premiums (Vampires, Werewolves), I’m sure the Mummies will earn Event Currency at Premium Rate as well.
I’ve steered clear of most Premiums, except for Tongue Kiss Point and those Discounted Trees (can’t say no to the extra Bonus %).
These Characters (and Count Dracula), their Building should’ve been Premium and earning Event Currency (and Pickaxes). EA did offer some great new stuff this time …
Like these as its Frankenstein, will maybe buy before event ends
Is anyone else having issues connecting? I haven’t been able to all afternoon.
Their outside tasks are stationary or do they wonder? Example, President Lincoln outside his house compared to drunken chef stumbling around?
Julienstein wanders for both of hers. Frankenstein has one at the castle and one where he wanders.

Is this a setting in WordPress?
This is the only WordPress based site that does this to me. Other sites that use WordPress do not do this.

I figured since all the classic monsters were put in the game,,, Frankenstein & the Mrs. wouldn’t look weird. Having the Dracula’s,,Werewolves & Mummies (soon,anyways) they won’t be so out of place. So I went ahead & got them with no regrets. I just started casual KEM farming,,so what the hay.

I’ve thought the same thing! Doesn’t even have to be a big amount,, either. Would make more people a bit more motivated to complete then,,imo.
I feel the same …already have lots of castles (most in storage all year except at Halloween) and this will be back at a discount next year. Would just go into storage till then anyway.👻
