Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
There are two predictable events in TSTO every year, Halloween and Christmas. They’re generally two events guaranteed to excite tappers and get everyone talking about TSTO. This morning Act 3 arrived, with Mummies and their elegant wraps.
As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 3 of Halloween runs until November 14th (when the entire event will end), and you’ll need to send 5 Springfielders on a 12hr task to get things started.
Now let’s work our way through the Mummy wraps of the Act 3 questline….

Make Homer Get Distracted by Bazaar Food- 8hrs, Earns Event Currency

Make Lisa Show Womenhet the Mummy Around Springfield- 8hrs, Earns Event Currency
And yes, bonuts are available again. Whatever, Mummies appears after you’ve completed the Act 3 questline. For every 28,000 you earn you’ll have a shot at 1, 2 or 3 donuts.

Hey guys! Is it right that Apu has to leave the game because he is not politically correct? I love the show just because it’s full of funny cliches! If you let him go others will follow . Please don’t let Apu die, it would be the end of The Simpsons.

Pretty far ahead of the calendar, so should have the bazaar by this evening. Crafting is going slo, tho…wish the small dunes were in the store instead of crafting. They aren’t really very attractive unless you have a bunch of them, and I’m not going to spend all my currency on one item. Oh well…could have been a really nice effect. Another lost opportunity, EA.
I really like the other prizes…have started an Egyptian village as a portal to my desert area…

Ugh, haven’t been able to log on all day….getting spinning donut of death and retry message.
The server problems we seem to be experiencing are in fact THE MUMMY’S CURSE! So many of us were gloating about how we saved daily tasks, digging tools, and the kids writing their novels that the Mummy had no choice but to foul our game to slow us down. Now, instead of being 9 days ahead, you’ll only be 8 1/2 days ahead when the servers come back from the crypt. Stop and smell the emballming fluid…

Thanks to all the tips on this site, I ended up with 1380 pickaxes at the start of act 3. After 90 minutes of digging, 3 saved daily tasks, 31 kids at the tween lit building, clearing all the minions, I ended the first day 9 days ahead. At this rate, I will have gotten the last prize for act 3 before I finish the questline for it.
While I cackle to myself over being so far ahead (I was way out in front for act 2 & had 9 days of bonut collecting), I’m beginning to wonder if it’s worth it to game the system & finish it way ahead of time (coming from someone who was lost the first few events way back at the start of the game many years ago). Then again, there really isn’t much to the story/questline, as has been the case for a while now with TSTO, except mindless tapping every 4 hours, so why not game the game while you still can.
I can feel guilty & giddy at the same time, it appears.
All I can say is my Mummy is riding a Segway (8 Hour Task that earns Event Currency (lol)😂 – go buy the Mummy / Building Combo (145 sprinkles) …. and if you followed the advice Aliss Patric Safi give you (prep for Act 3), then you’re easily 3 Days ahead of the Act 3 Calendar! 😀👍

thank you Alissa!! Awesome as always! Also anyone having server issues today? Yesterday was fine getting into game with Act 3 start.. I am having an issue getting in this am… I was fine earlier today (5:30am EST) but now at 8am EST, both my husband and I cannot get into game, both on iPad and Android devices..keeps giving me the Bart screen’ Sorry about that. Maybe if you if retry…” 🙁

YES, I just posted about it. I am U.S. East Coast.. I got in really early, 5:30am this morning, but just started giving error around 8am EST. 🙁
I am having the issue on my iPad, but not my iPhone. I can still get in to play on that. And all my neighboreenos are gone. I didn’t even get to say goodbye. 😢😢😢
Thank you I have already grabbed the 3rd craft and upto the fourth of act 3 due to keeping all the digs I hope to Finnish it before the event ends thank you alisha and grumpy old guy for your help.
Love the decorations and so can’t wait to really start decorating a couple different area’s with this stuff.
Addicts– help! I got the nightmare pile the other day, but it stopped auto-generating the quests mid-way through. I own all the kids, but only got quests for 8 of the 14 kids. Nothing in task bar. Stored and re-placed nightmare pile, kids it wouldn’t trigger for, logged in, logged out, went to a neighbors town, redownloaded the game…not sure what else to do. Contacted EA and they sent me to Alissa’s Should I Buy for the item 🙁 Not very helpful. Any ideas or suggestions very much appreciated.

Excited for the release of the NPC’s after this event is over 💪 I’m thinking we will def get the 3 variations of each NPC in each act. Proly be 50 in each bundle
I think they might release them as 3 full characters like they did with the tourists from the Destination Springfield event with the monster skins being different animated jobs.
I hope they will be like the tourists.
