Another day, another event in Springfield as Halloween has fallen upon our pocket-sized towns! And it wouldn’t be an event without a Mystery Box, now would it? Of course EA’s go a box for this occasion! They have a box for everything! This time around we’ve got a box full of Magical items from Halloween 2017…
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those Magical premium character/building/decorations you may have missed out on last year. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
This Mystery Box is a great way to get items at a discount or something you missed out on from a previous event.
And…if you already have everything in the box you won’t see the box in your store.
So for 45 donuts, you can have your shot at a variety of premium characters, decorations, and buildings from the Magical Event of the past. 45 Donuts is less than or equal to the initial value for each item. (unless it was a prize)

Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy (or details) posts from the past so y’all can see how much they originally cost & what specifically each building/character does.
45 donuts is a MORE THAN fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it. (even if most of the items were originally prizes, if they were to come back as premium items (which in some cases they have) they’d cost more than 45 donuts each)

Woke up and pretty bored so i splurged 315 sprinkles really only wanted the catbus thing for my Krusty Leand so guess which one i got last? I think EA’s AI is smarter than we think.

I spent 540 donuts in this event (soon to be 585) and they all went into this mystery box which is not a bad price for 6 characters, 1 costume 7 (going on 8) buildings, and 5 decorations :D. I had all the freemium items from last year so there was no dud prizes and they all were premiums in the box. My favourite prizes were the character/building combos and the Magic Palace but I loved adding the other buildings to my magic academy. I’m still looking for somewhere to place Treestache’s Grove since I have Wiggops’ Station by the academy ruins and the Pile of Gold with the Money Mountain. <3 🙂 <3
I had 10 things on offer, on my first try I got Raymondo. Thats the only character on offer for me, so I am happy. I probably wont try for the rest.

Completely missed last year’s Halloween event so had nothing in the box… but all I wanted was Angelica Button. Decided to have a little try for it in spite of the risk – got her on second try 😀 very pleased. First try was Cat Bus which I’m not overly fond of but has a bonus % and looks funny in my Krustyland. A premium character with a building and increased bonus % for 90 donuts – not a bad deal! 😀
Clean sweep for me. It was a good value box.
The very first box that I opened contained the one item I wanted. That’s right—I got the Burns drag on the first try!
Just an FYI: if you don’t have Professor Frink, you WILL get him if you win the Sorcerer skin, so that’s a really good deal. I was lucky enough to get it on my first try in TWO of my Springfields!

I had just started playing during last year’s Halloween event, probably Act III, so all three of this event’s Mystery Boxes were loaded ! I have picked up a lot of great items.
I had the exact number of items inside my box but now I only have 1 item left which is the DMV that I will buy before the event ends. 😀
