Should I Spend Donuts On The Escape Zone?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

New holiday alert in Springfield! Yes, it’s time to break out your stretchy pants as Thanksgiving is fast approaching for our favorite yellow family!  Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add The Escape Zone to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this puzzle to your town…

Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
Not a bad pickup, no matter what your player status is.  If you like it, grab it…otherwise pass.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ll likely pick this one up.  But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

What are your thoughts on The Escape Zone?  Will you be spending the donuts to bring it to your Springfield? Did you already?  Why or why not?  Where have you placed it in your town?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. I got it but hung to have to stop getting stuff with absolutely no land

  2. I think this is the first time I have no interest in an event’s premium buildings & characters. And I don’t recognize any them from the series.

    • Forgot which episode but we do see Moe’s dad, his one brother (the one with the mattress store) and his one sister (the one on the prize tree). We also see the warehouse and the mattress store in that same episode.

  3. Probably a pass for me, but can anyone tell me what the sign says? I can’t make it out. P&TY

  4. I had Princess Kashmir in my “vault” this week for 175 donuts with a 45 donut rebate so I snapped her up! My husband has different things in his vault though, which I know because he is sad he didn’t get that rebate deal. Is it different for everyone each week or is this a weird fluke? She was a great purchase though; I always want more female characters in my Springfield, and her 12 AND 24 hour tasks are both outside, which I appreciate 😀

  5. If you don’t have the Arcade? Then the Escape Zone would do it (always nice to have a Building for the kids in Springfield to Task at) …. I’m fine without it because I’d need some Land Tokens to squeeze this in while I do some remodeling to my Springfield. 🤔

  6. I will be saving my donuts and kem farming as fast as i can. Black friday is going to be expensive, but worth it in the long run.

  7. My thoughts is I’ll be skipping this and the rest of Mo’s family that they want donuts for.

  8. I picked up the Escape Zome. Fun quest line, thus far. Glad I got it.

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but I just picked up Springfield High School and Principal Chalmers for in game cash! Pretty happy! The available list of characters you can buy is also drastically reduced. Only 4 in my Springfield at the moment. Assuming this is prep for Black Friday Mystery boxes. So exciting!

    • That’s pretty normal. Chalmers and the HS were part of a level quest. Never premium. They’ve been in the game for years

      • Thanks Alissa. I knew he’d been here, just was pleasantly surprised to find a character bundle for in game cash and wanted to share the joy to anyone else that didn’t have him. I know most will, but it was a nice surprise for me and I’m lvl 939 so was thinking others may not as well. Thanks for all you do, this site is awesome! Been coming here for about 2 years and love it.

  9. 4 hour tasks… I have enough of them. ThEAy need to mix things up a little, make these tasks 2, 3, 6, 10 or 16 hours and add those times to the Office of unemployment. No one needs to have 10 different 4-hour jobs for one character…

    • I just wish the unemployment office picked the premium tasks instead of the first item on the list.

    • One of my favorite parts of the Halloween event was in the questline, the task to worship (or maybe sacrifice for) Womenhet where all the characters went into the nearest residence. I was overjoyed to see both my futuristic domiciled lit up at the same time, one of the best building animations in the game IMO. There were some very funny bedfellows shacked up together and I was very amused watching Buddha leave Burns’ mansion. I really wished it would have stayed a permanent task. I thought how great would it be if there was a 6hr task for characters to go to the nearest residence (they already have the programming for it) and a 10hr to go into the nearest business. Much better than sending all characters to one place like the Swelldorado.

  10. I placed it next to “Simpson Laser Tag” as they are both limited fads.

  11. I bought it 😊 I like cheap buildings

  12. I’m a sucker for the cheap buildings, so yes I picked it up.
