Grab your Santa hats and break out the tinsel because it’s Christmas time in Springfield! Yes the annual TSTO Christmas event has arrived in our pocket-sized towns, covering our usual perfect weather towns with a fresh blanket of bright, white, snow!
While the Christmas event, and snow, are annual the structure of this event is anything but! This is the first major event in Springfield that’s structured like a mini-event. Christmas consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the Simpsons Christmas Special!
For Act 1 we’re tasked with following Lisa’s Christmas story…all about the Christmas Pageant. Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for Lisa’s story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Week 1 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for Lisa’s Christmas Story…

OMG – I can’t believe I’ve sat for 2 days wondering why the Angel won’t complete, then finally came to see if there was any info here and guess what – it’s not just me – millions of “user errors”! 🙂 Maybe if so many people made the same ‘mistake’ it might be considered a design error 😉 Thanks for the info!
Okay….I just got the stage, but it hasn’t triggered the 12hr tasks for the kids.

I’m having the same problem. I selected the task from the list, it took me to Lisa who was available but there was no new task that I could trigger. I’ll see if it’s resolved at the end of m next cycle, in about 2 hours…
I had the same problem. You need Lisa, Milhouse, and Ralph all available.
Yes, but some sort of message or a greyed out quest would have been helpful. And the animation is hilarious. I don’t think it’s a premium payout. Too bad, I’ll probably not use it very often.
AM i the only one having a problem completing task for Angel Lisa. Task w8ndow says that ive completing both taśma but nothing happens after😡
Ralph’s bit with Lisa about his part in the Christmas play ( Dracula killing people with a bulldozer) & drunken Homer passed out on the Christmas Carousel make this event totally worth it.

I can’t view the act 2 page or week 2 column and so on. Only lisas act same with everyone? I mean when we used to click on the upcoming act page, it said hold your horses but now it cannot be seen anywhere…….
What about an inside info on what premium items/people to buy for the event?
Help please: Why I’m I stuck on Twas the Pageant Before Christmas Pt. 3. It shows I have Completed Task Awards Angel Lisa. But I don’t see angel Lisa anywhere. I check storage and when I click on her I don’t see it there with the other skins. Also it won’t let me go on to the next task to do ‘Twas the Pageant Before Christmas Pt. 4.

Might of over looked it, is Angel Lisa a full character or just another skin for Lisa?

Ok thanks Alissa I just unlocked her and I was hoping a full character and not just another skin for her since she has so many already.
Love the snow, but that is about it. I, like most of us, was looking forward to a fun and festive event this year, but this is just boring. No neighbor interaction is disappointing to me also.
I was hoping that this was going to be a good one since the last two years were anything but. The alien and pagan celebrations of the past two years,well, not a fan either. Maybe things will improve if I’m still playing next year.
I’m just confused, what about this makes it boring to you?
Compare this to last year. You had to complete 4hr character tasks to earn currency, just like this one. The missing features are: tappables (which can be frustrating to try and find. OR are just as boring because they add the “clear all” feature to clear them instantly), Daily Challenges (which are unnecessary because the prize goals are so small), Neighbor actions (and over the years it’s been less and less important to visit a neighbor, as the currency means nothing in the scheme of the event. Plus you can still visit neighbors and collect cash, xp and a potential donut), and crafting (and let’s face it, lately crafting is just repeats of items from events past. And to combat the new items EA added MORE prizes with this event…20 prizes to this event compared to 12 last year).
So just not sure what’s boring…playing the game?
Certainly, it’s your opinion, and you’re entitled to it…but I’m honestly having a hard time finding the negative with this event so help me out.
Meh 🤷♀️ just keep tapping. Maybe the next act will be more exciting. Definitely like it better than the Pegan holiday we had that one year. So that’s a plus. Not the best event just yet but definitely not the worst. It’s only a day in, just give it some time. The next might be fabulous! You never know.
Thanks for the information. Like the concept of different weekly “acts”. Also have enjoyed getting out my stored Christmas stuff and making a holiday area again in my town. The snow is always fun too.
If all we have to worry about is if this event is good or bad, then I would say we are foruntante. Hope everyone enjoys their holidays.
I don’t like it, plain and simple. No good premium content, and I got mostly lame stuff from the mystery box (I got 6 items). I’m gonna sit this one out.
I mean we’re a day in, with a TON of premium content still to come…and you’re saying there’s no good premium content?
I’ve looked at the spoilers for the premium content. It’s not good, nor are the current offerings.
So you’ve seen titles of what’s coming. And an image or two, do you know what they do? Can’t pass judgement based on a list of content…better to see how it works before judgement is passed.

Interesting that Santa’s Little Helper is no longer available for purchase. Is he a Vault item now? Will he become unlockable through one of the mini-events? He is very X-Mas themed and is front and center in the new intro screen illustration….

Not impressed with this event. The “prizes” are terrible. I love the Xmas events and was looking forward to a real event again, not four mini-events. This will probably be the impetus that gets me to stop playing Tapped Out permanently.

Of course, and I’d rather have a suitcase full of money than an empty suitcase. But we can’t always get what we want…that’s life.
Decorations are important too. That dinky little chestnut stand sure beats crafting currency…
Just curious at what your level is (number of characters and buildings)? Increasing your bonus is far more effective. If you have a hundred characters and a hundred buildings, a 1% bonus increase is equivalent to adding a new character AND a new building. I have received 3% in flaming torches already from the recent dig site.

Honestly, I don’t see them. And I don’t remember seeing them last year either.
I think they released a few last year, but not all of them. I can’t remember which ones I bought. I’m still missing the holiday Cooling Towers skin and was hoping it would show up to buy.
Yeah, I have a lot but would love to get more building decor. I want the cooling towers, too. Christmas theme for Moe’s, Krusty Burger, and the school would be particularly welcome.
It did say updating again. Did something change?
Wether we like this event or hate it, the plus side is we will be expertly steered through the event by Allisa & Co.

Maybe because I just got back from vacation, where I visited multiple Christmas markets in Spain and along the French and Italian Riviera, but I’m looking forward to building my own little Christmas market -and I do mean little, as I dont have much land to work with in the area where I want to build it. I rushed the carousel because I couldn’t wait to check it out and I really like it, I think it’s fun, especially in use. I’m looking forward to the little booths as well. I think this event will turn out just fine. I get that it’s not the “big” event that people wanted but, at the end of the day, if you walk away from an event with a handful of decent items then awesome. If you walk away with more than that then bonus. I’m sure this event will have something that appeals to you at some point, not every item is going to be wow. That being said, I do think EA missed the mark on no neighbor interaction. It’s Christmas. A time to GIVE. I wish I could drop off presents to my neighbors or something -anything! I love giving gifts, half of my suitcase from vacation was filled with gifts for friends and family. So, if you are one of my neighbors, when I visit you, just pretend I’m dropping off a present🎁, since EA won’t allow me to. Happy holidays!

One of the decor bundles had pretty much everything I needed…added a Krustyland Burger and a few other items to fill it out. I think the carousel and stage will be nice additions, also…looking forward to adding them. 😁👍

I’m somewhat confused. It says (even for this first act) that the quests lasts until januari 2th. Would that mean that even if we didn’t finish an act in 1 week, we could continue that act even if act 2 started already?

I love the structure of this event. this is such a busy time of the year it’s impossible to grind.
plus I love the snow – it relieves me of arranging my town. I’ve been getting the item limit reminder for awhile & it has dampened my enthusiasm for decorating.
Lola…as long as you’re nowhere near 12,000 pieces, you don’t need to worry about the piece limit. Don’t let the warnings upset you…they won’t affect your game.⛄️😁
