Yes the annual TSTO Christmas event has arrived in our pocket-sized towns, covering our usual perfect weather towns with a fresh blanket of bright, white, snow! Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Cirque De Puree and the Circus Acrobat to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this high flying duo to your town…

Pros

-Comes with his own questline, which you can wait to complete

-Not really a memorable character from the show, kind of a blip character
-Will only help during Act 1
Final Thought
Premium:
A throwaway character from a fairly memorable Simpsons winter episode (Skinner’s Sense of Snow). He does help with the event, Act 1 only, but is still pretty forgettable. I consider this one a premium toss up. If you’re into the design of the building and like the circus grab it, plus it is 150 donuts which will be a rare price for this event, otherwise pass. He’s pretty forgettable.
Freemium:
Pass. Save your donuts for something better down the line.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I picked it up. But I readily admit this time of the year makes me loopy with spending donuts, so do as I say more than as I do. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

I normally buy a premium character for the events. The fact that this is only good for the first act pisses me off. There goes a lot of hard earned donuts
I’m a sucker for characters and I love the color of the tent.
I’m sure you guys will be doing a should I buy post for it but will the screens be useful for the whole event or just act 1?
I’m not 100% sure, but I believe only act 1. The wording says Generates Programs vs Generates Event Currency…which is similar language to Kathy and the Circus Acrobat. So my hunch is only Act 1, but can’t say for certain until act 2 hits.

One of the bundles has a ferris wheel. If you don’t have the ferris wheel is a really good deal. The wheel is in my vault right now 120🍩 30🍩 off and the whole bundle is 50🍩. I think I got a 1.75% bonus boost with the other stuff included.
I will most likely pick up the festive bundle for my street mall in SH.
I passed on this guy. Have a feeling better things are to come, like Gil’s deal.
Also anybody know the contents of the festive bundle, north pole bundle etc. Any Christmas lights included anywhere?

My progress has stalled at the point when the Angel Lisa is supposed to appear. Anyone else having any issues?
You must send Lisa, Homer, Milhouse and Ralph to ride the carousel to complete that task and collect Angel Lisa.
This character is from season 12 Episode 8. It’s a pretty funny episode. One of my top 5 favorite episodes. I picked it up.
Like I said, a forgetable character from a memorable episode…
I didn’t even wait, I picked him up right away. It’s one of my favorite episodes.
My sister and I use “I dunno. Internet?” And “I hope it was Flanders” all the freaking time.

I really like how many of the new characters have tasks that can be performed at the nearest restaurant or house or store – it gives some love to some neglected buildings and a little more variety over all!
