It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

It’s Christmas in Springfield! Thoughts on the new Christmas event? Prizes? New Format? Have you calmed down yet?
Speaking of Christmas, have you started decorating yet? How’s your shopping going? Any special Christmas traditions you follow?
And finally, how about the rest of your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting?

Has anyone noticed that all the new cold items (snow mansion, Barney’s ice fishing hut, ice bank) cannot be placed on ice? This puts a crimp in my game design. Does anyone know a work around?
I discovered in my B game that the opportunity to get the Santa Skin Bundle in the Winter Wonderland Mystery Box is only available if you don’t already have Santa Flanders. I sooooooo wanted to get Santa Homer – does Santa Homer fly a sleigh? How can I get this for my A game??
I’m sad that no house decorations are being offered. I would buy them for donuts if they were available.
I’m not really sure where to voice this, but I find it kinda frustrating that the same characters get all the event tasks. I have around 200 characters, but it seems like the same 8 to 10 characters (especially Homer and Lisa) do all the tasks that earn even currency or grind for donuts. Would love it if EA would let the others do stuff too.

I completed part 5 for the quest and did not receive the pageant stage. I couldn’t find in the comments on how to fix the glitch can someone help me? Thanks.
It’s very likely you didn’t complete part 5. You have to scroll up in the box to see all of tasks. To complete part 5 you have to:
Send Lisa to Set up the Booths
Send Ralph to Ride the Carousel
Send Milhouse to Ride the Carousel
Send Homer to Ride the Carousel
Collect 300 Programs.
All of this is spelled out on the questline post for week 1…

I had the same problem. I went scrolling just now and found an 8-hour job for Lisa to set-up booths that I missed.
8 hours!
I figured someone else would have the same problem. (Sigh)
