Should I Spend Donuts On Circus of Values?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Grab your Santa hats and break out the tinsel because it’s Christmas time in Springfield! Yes the annual TSTO Christmas event has arrived in our pocket-sized towns, covering our usual perfect weather towns with a fresh blanket of bright, white, snow!   Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Circus of Values to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this episode 1 throwback to your town…

Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
I like this one.  It basically has everything we ask for when it comes to a premium building.  It’s reasonably priced, has a permanent character task and it’s animated when in use.  Plus, it’s from the very first episode! If you have the donuts and like the look pick this one up.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I picked it up.  But I readily admit this time of the year makes me loopy with spending donuts.  But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Here’s a look at the questline…

Circus of Values Pt. 1
Auto starts

Marge: Just a minute, Lisa. I need to stop at the Kwik-E-Mart for milk.
Lisa: Mom, the Kwik-E-Mart is all the way across town. And there’s a store right here.
Marge: Huh. You’d think I’d know every store in Springfield by now, but I don’t recognize this one.
Lisa: Yeah, well, buildings drop out of the sky pretty fast around here. In case you hadn’t noticed.
Marge: Come on, let’s check it out.
Make Marge Hunt for Deals- 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp
Marge: Oh my goodness, did you see the price of this milk? Three cents less than at the Kwik-E-Mart!
Lisa: Uh, Mom? You do realize that convenience stores like the Kwik-E-Mart are the worst, most expensive place to shop for groceries.
Marge: And the paper towels! So many different brands to choose from!
Lisa: I’ve been meaning to discuss this with you for a long time. Over the years, we’ve probably wasted thousands of dollars buying groceries from Apu. It’s not like we’re rich. But we almost never seem to go to an actual supermarket. What’s the deal with that?
Marge: Sponges are on sale, too. Hurry Lisa!

The Screens Pt. 2
Auto starts

Lisa: Mom, I’ve never seen anyone so excited over mustard.
Marge: I… I just never knew there were multiple kinds. Apu only carries the one brand.
Lisa: YOU’RE THIRTY-EIGHT YEARS OLD. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT?
Marge: Oooh, look! They have buns made specially for hot dogs! You don’t just have to squish up hamburger buns! Did you know that was a thing?!
Lisa: YES. EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT.
Make Marge Go Shopping– 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp
Marge: Sorry about that, sweetie. Okay, I’m done shopping. Let’s go.
Lisa:…Wait, where are your bags?
Marge: Oh, I didn’t buy anything. I could never betray Apu by shopping somewhere else.
Lisa: What? Why not?! You can see that the prices are much better than at Kwik-E-Mart. Don’t you want to save money?
Marge: Honey, Apu is our friend.
Lisa: A friend who gouges you on a vastly inferior range of products.
Marge: Adult friendships are complicated, okay?

What are your thoughts on Circus of Values?  Will you be spending the donuts to bring it to your Springfield? Did you already?  Why or why not?  Where have you placed it in your town?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Sorry, but I thought of the creepy vending machines also called “Circus of Value” in the game Bioshock. I’m wondering if they were named after the Simpsons shop🤔

    • I thought the same! Probably just coincidence. Even I did not remember this thing. It was apparently in episode 1 and never seen again?

  2. I’m too busy working my way through my mystery box.

  3. Ooh, I’m a sucker for cheap buildings 😂

  4. Circus of Values

I got this Building without hesitation (knew it wasn’t going to help earn Event Currency, but ♥️ it for all the reasons Alissa mentioned)👍

Some Premiums for this Event are like a Christmas gift from EA 🎅🦌🎄⛄

  5. Seriously….its from the very first Simpson’s Xmas! Do u NEED another reason to splurge???
