Ho Ho Ho Holiday Tappers!
Bust out the tinsel and be sure to hang those stockings by the chimney with care because Christmas time is in the air! That’s right my friends, Christmas (and snow, lots and lots of snow) has hit our pocket-sized towns!
This year EA is trying something different, as I’ve laid out in this post, in that Christmas 2018 consists of multi-events. Basically, the Simpson family will host four stories to be told over the course of December with a new story releasing each week. As we’re taken through each story a series of prizes are released to correspond with the theme of the story. For Week 2, Act 2, we’re following a Buddy Cop tale by Bart, and the prizes we unlock all fit into the snow theme.
So let’s take a look at the last two prizes this week, the Snow Mobile and Truck Stop Diner…
First up, prize 4, the Snow Mobile AND Land Token

Make Homer Drink at Moe’s– 8hrs

What Does it Do?: Aside from earning cash/xp, Bart has an 8hr task there (after questline) to Storm the Truck Stop Diner

I like how the Snow Mobile is one of the few cars in the game that actually drives on roads when it doesn’t explode, it is also something that can go with other snow and ice items but I wish the new snow items can go on ice tiles since they would be perfect there, pretty please EA, make it happen. ☺️
I got the Truck Stop Diner earlier today and I like the flashy animation with it and that there is a permanent task with it (more good news is that Anger Watkins can look for a decent meal and Wiseguy can serve food here).
WOW! The animation for the snowmobile is excellent. EA did an excellent job with this one. This event is the best ever!
I love this event. Having a story carry along, no sucky level crafting and awesome animations. It would be perfect if they brought back some kind of community prize track and/or dropping gifts in neighbor towns. It’s funny and doesn’t really feel like an endless chore.
I like the ice building/car more than I thought I would.
Just realised Kathy from personnel doesn’t have a task at the plant!
Now that I have some time free for the main characters I’ve been sending the bar flies to Moe’s Express which I got in Black Friday boxes. Love this animation! But wish Ruth Powers could sit in that last empty seat.

The animation for the snowmobile is great. When they get stuck, too funny.
I’m excited that I went from being behind in the first week to being right on time or possibly ahead for this week. I hate feeling like I’m behind for an entire act so this puts me at ease. These roll over acts are great.
I’m a fan of the animated tasks this event has given us.
