Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with returning limited-time premium items to tempt us.
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

My Opinion On It Now: Opinion remains unchanged on this one. It’s a take it or leave it character, although at 140 donuts she’s lower in cost than some of the other premium combos hitting our game these days.

What Does It Do: Full character/building combo (and yes, Santa earns at premium rate now)
My Opinion On It Now: Standard price for building/character combo these days. Santa has fun tasks and is a delight to have in Springfield. If you have the donuts and missed out on him last year I’d pick him up.

What Does It Do: Animated when tapped, doors open, light reflects out, animals react
My Opinion On It Now: Reasonably priced, but it doesn’t do anything (outside of an animated when tapped). No bonus %, no income generating, no character task…I’d pass.

Regular Characters became Premium.
During the October event, several of my characters went from regular pay-offs to premium pay-offs. These include Frinkenstein, Greystash, Wizard Unicorn, and Hugo. More recently Santa and President Lisa changed to premium as well.
I have seen no mention of this and was wondering if it happened to anyone else?
Santa is not an option for me. I checked and I do not already have him in my town. Do I have to fish some questline to unlock the ability to buy him?
Both were prizes last year (him and his house). Separate prizes. If you have 1 but not the other it wont appear for you

Stable – huh. I’m pretty sure it came with a bonus, when I bought it some time ago.

Does anyone know what the shape on the stable at the inn roof is supposed to be? I missed whatever episode the stable was from and don’t really want to buy it cause of it’s overall uselessness- but every time I see it I feel like I’m looking at some sort of Buzzfeed brain teaser… :/
The stable is a hard no, unless they add % points. would just be stored.

I got Lydia for 80 donuts from Black Friday. She’ll be discounted again. I like the Inn, but Lydia has become lost among several characters I rarely see in my game. Definitely not worth 140 unless you’re a KEM farmer.
Sorry, Lyla. The quest line with Mr. Burns is pretty good though.
It was 60 donuts at Black Friday, so even better deal! I ended up with her and Maison Derriere.
