Bust out the tinsel and be sure to hang those stockings by the chimney with care because Christmas time is in the air! That’s right my friends, Christmas (and snow, lots and lots of snow) has hit our pocket-sized towns!

This year EA is trying something different, as I’ve laid out in this post, in that Christmas 2018 consists of multi-events.  Basically, the Simpson family will host four stories to be told over the course of December with a new story releasing each week.  As we’re taken through each story a series of prizes are released to correspond with the theme of the story.  For Week 3, Act 3, we’re following a Heartwarming Love story as told by Marge, and the prizes we unlock all fit into the Christmas Love Story theme.

So let’s take a look at the fifth (and final) prize this week, Santa Homie (and a Land Token)…

Before we discuss the prize, I want to make this completely clear because I know I’ll be asked.  As I indicated in the Week 3 questline post, Santa Homie is a decoration/task for Homer & Marge.  This does NOT give you Santa Homer.  Nor does it require Santa Homer.

Prize 5, the Snowed Inn AND Land Token

How You Unlock it:

Paramours of Christmas Past Pt. 5
Make the Ghost of Christmas Past Dwell On the Past- 4hrs
Make Marge Consider her Options- 8hrs
Collect Stockings- x300. 

Once achieved you’ll unlock Santa Homie…

Item: Santa Homie
Size: 3×3
Build Time: Instant
Earns: Nothing, just a decoration with a character task. 
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Can Be Placed: grass|pavement|boardwalk|pier|dirt
What Does it Do?:   So essentially this is a “Santa Chair” decoration you’re unlocking.  With the chair comes a permanent 12hr task for Marge AND Homer to “Sit on Homer’s Lap”.  This is a visual task for both Homer and Marge, and it’s during this task you’ll see Homer dress up like Santa.
Again, this is not the Santa Homer costume for Homer.  Nor do you need to have that costume for Homer.  This is just a permanent task for Homer (and Marge) that has Homer dress up like Santa.  Similar to Wiggum’s “Go Undercover” task.
