Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
So an app store update hit our stores a little while ago (if you don’t see it try searching for Tapped Out in your App Store). At the moment this update just removes the snow from Springfield and returns our games back to pre-Christmas update. (holy smokes, it’s so green!)
There is a Mini Event Tied to this update. However that mini event will NOT START UNTIL TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY JAN 9th, AT 10AM ET (1500 GMT). So PLEASE don’t ask me where it is. It will not start until tomorrow at 10am ET (1500GMT).
So I can tell you this update will bring two requested characters to Springfield (one old and one young…), a bunch of buildings (including one, that will cost a lot of donuts, that will solve some land token problems), and a few decorations. Also, with this update, you’ll see a TON of returning Stonecutters stuff. So if you’ve been in the market for it, it’s back just for you!
And for those of you curious about the new characters…turn to your character collections to find them. Still can’t find them, here they are:

…The most ideal scenario, riding nice TRANSITIONS b/w SEASONS is:
▪️3-6 week mini events retaining Winter, as done last year thru at least end of Jan. or better yet Valentines…
▪️Next mini event on St Pat’s, still within Winter phase for the ideal golden opportunity for a canon super event:

It’s funny you mention Oz as we’re in the middle of a hot Summer… today marks the 40th day of Summer, having started on 01/12 (not 21/12 like you guys), and has 50 more days running until 28/02. In 5 more days it’ll be mid-Summer for us 😉 It’s always weird seeing snow in games at the hottest time of the year. It was 36 C last Sunday, 29 C today, and it’ll finally be a pleasant 25 tomorrow.
There is a strange icon hovering over Moe’s Tavern in my Springfield. I think the icon is related to the upcoming event. But if the upcoming event is not live, yet, why is that icon there?
Is anyone else seeing this icon?
I can provide a screenshot of this icon if it is requested.
I just have the regular, scurrying mouse :/ What does the icon look like?
I cannot say for sure right now what it looks like because it currently partially obscured by several “completed character task” icons. As best as I can say, the icon kind of looks like a broom or a mop (which sort of makes sense if the name of the event is “Not Yet Spring Cleaning”).
You mean like when a neighbor has vandalized it, or does it look different than that mop icon?
I suppose that one of my in-game friends could have vandalized Moe’s Tavern in my Springfield. I haven’t gotten vandalized in ages, so I don’t remember what the icon for that looks like.
I’m not seeing anything like that over mine.

Think I’m missing two characters…. sent all on a 4 hour job and it’s 218 characters instead of the usual 220. Now to figure out who’s missing!

iPad Pro 2018 update! Finally the game fills the whole screen and looks much clearer!

Am I late to this issue? I stopped playing for about 3 weeks. I didnt finish the last 2 prizes for the last 3 weeks of the Christmas event however I can still earn those prizes and it doesnt seem like my event has been removed? But the game has updated. Everything is normal but the event is still active for me. Should I be worried? Lol
You can always finish current reward where you stooped but you won’t be able to get them all as it will dissapear after you’re done.
50/50… On the Facebook page for TSTO, the staffers posted something about the greyhound sleigh a day after the event was supposed to be concluded. In the comments, there were a lot of people commenting that the event was already over but a few noted how they could still get prizes post event. So- either it’s a glitch (and you’re not the only one who has it) or a super nice gift from EA 🙂 I’d just go for the prizes and worry only if tomorrow’s event doesn’t start 😉
Sure enough at 4:30pm I got an update at Google Play that removed everything Winter (b-b-but everything looks so Easter Spring – where are the autumn leaves? (lol) 🤔
Hey, I am enjoying just kicking back and Kem Farming …. no rush to jump into another Event (Mini-Event) – but a new Building that ties into Land Tokens? (why do I feel EA it’s going to take advantage of something for a lot of 🍩’s?) 🙄
I was enjoying kem farming and increasing my bonus since last fridays post, was hoping to do a full week and see where I ended up … I guess I will stop tonight so I can buy some of the new items …
I hear it’s not going to be THAT bad (a couple days of solid farming), but I’m sure it’s subject to change before it goes live tomorrow.
The Tree Farm when flipped one way does not have a snow-less image, according to the wiki. If you don’t see your Tree Farm, it is likely because you need to flip it the other way to see it- it is there but not visible.
It can’t be selected to flip.
actually it can be selected.. just activate the move icon and then tap on it. You can rotate it that way.. however when you rotate it the only thing that happens is the footprint becomes smaller. You see that when the green footprint shade changes size.
Sadly, Lewis Clark will be premium.
Also the Christmas tree farm is invisible because the snow less texture is incomplete

I like the snow, too. And winter normally lasts more than at Christmas time! I had a little more trouble finding Maggie in the snow, but I survived! 😁

I did the update. The snow is gone, and so is my tree farm! Anyone else missing their tree farm? I checked my inventory one by one, it’s not in there. Guess I’ll need to call, hope I can get it back.
Mine is gone too. I tried locating/highlighting to flip it like nparkern suggested, but there’s nothing in the spot (or my inventory).
Not sure what it was called, but my Christmas tree farm from the recent Marge story is gone. Can’t see it in inventory either. Just me?

I noticed that after I updated my game, that my Christmas Tree Farm is now missing. It doesn’t show on the piece of land I placed or in my inventory. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just lucky?
