We’re a few days into 2019 and it’s time for our first update of the year! Not Yet Spring Cleaning, the latest mini-event in Springfield, is full of content we’ve been asking for! (Springfield U, Alice Glick, Land Tokens..to say the least!) And of course, an all-new mini-event provides a great excuse for EA to throw premium content at us!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Mighty Pigs Practice Rink and Lewis Clark to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this icey combo to your town…

-Seeing that 15 donut spike in this price combo, compared to 150 donuts combos usually are these days (still super high compared to 100-125 they were “back in the day”

Outside of the Golden Goose Realty, this is the best premium item offered with this event. Lewis is a classic character, the ice rink is a classic location..it just works. If you have the donuts go for this one…or wait until he appears later down the road in a Mystery Box or with a rebate…
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I already picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

I couldnt resist. There’s nothing cuter than wee ones playing hockey, happy to have a rink in town. Lewis is adorable. Very nice bonus percentage. Seattle just got approved as the latest NHL franchise and will have our own team in 2020. Didnt even wait for the SIB. Aleady love the 60m visual.
Will wait for him to come out in a mystery box, not really a must for the event itself.
However the main reason being that I just splashed out on about 50 jet engine bikes at 20 donuts each to boost my percentage !!!
KEM farming now to get the Golden Goose etc.
Back to regular farming, I guess…
Mighty Pigs Practice Rink with Lewis Clark
♥️ The Hockey Ring more than I do the Character, so this isn’t a priority Premium (unlike the Golden Goose Reality Building). I can Kem Farm for this in a Day, while I patiently review the other Premiums available (even those in the Vault). 👍
Squeaky Voiced Teen gets you Event Currency at Premium rate, it’s just a bummer that the other Kid Characters in Springfield I’ve obtained over the years aren’t allowed to obtain Event Currency (beyond the “usual” 10). 🤷♂️
I will have the 2nd Prize by the morning, which tells you how easy this Mini Event is. 😀

I bought him straight away. Literally the same second he became available. I have two minor observations. First, the rink could be a bit bigger. Secondly, when you tap it, it is temporarily animinated. It would be nice if it stayed animated until tapped again- like the Christmas ice skating rink.

EA cracked my resolve with this one. Instant buy of a classic character. And seeing 2 re-released characters who weren’t part of the Black Friday mystery box bonanza, I snatched them up too. Oh well, gotta pay if you want them all.
Very disappointed over the size of the rink. Wish it would have been big enough to see the kids play a bit of hockey.
Are there any premium advantages to getting the stonecutter outfits and the table and number 1+ homer?
I heard dr hibbert was premium but haven’t heard about the rest
As far as I can recall, the Stonercutters’ outfits turned non-premium characters into premium. That said, not all Stoncutters tasks have premium payout. Off the top of my head, Krusty and Kent Brockman don’t have 4 hour premium tasks. I think No. 1 also does not have a 4 hour premium task.
My favourite are Homer, Krusty, Chief Wiggam and No. 51’s 12 hour task at the Stonecutter table.
The Lodge is premium now, so any task there has premium payout. Most of the Stonecutter tasks are there, so those will be premium, even if the skin doesn’t cost donuts.
And yes, the table is the best. I think it’s still my favorite task in the whole game.
I’m convinced he will appear in a mystery box down the road for half the price, he’s too classic to not reappear.
It’s Lewis, he is a day one character! But as I wasted 180 donuts in the Christmas event I have only about 40 right now. I am grinding as hard as I can only to be able to afford the golden gooose:( I know the golden goose will save an upward amount of about 10 million dollars and after that I can turn them into donuts (so it’s a better deal). So I can only sadly wave Lewis good bye for know
Has anyone else lost their donuts? I had ~750. I went to buy the rink and my bank now says I have 5 donuts!!! Is there anyone that I can contact to get my donuts back?

Could you have accidently rushed the job manager? Make sure your donut confirm button is on.

Put the rink in my earns bonus %, but doesn’t have to be tapped area in SH.

Bought it, I’m F2P (impulsive-P2P) KEM farmer and saved up lots of donuts over the “break”. Really happy with the purchase as it’s already adding much more to do during the mini-event
I originally wasn’t going to buy him & the rink.
But found a good spot in my “playground/field” area for the rink.
If I didn’t have a spot open were I thought the rink made sense to me I wouldn’t of pulled the trigger.
I didn’t wait for this post. With KEM farming it was a no-brainer! Come on… it’s Lewis! I got it the second I saw it. (But I still like your “Should I Spend Donuts on…” posts anyway, Alissa! Keep them coming!)
