We’re a few days into 2019 and it’s time for our first update of the year! Not Yet Spring Cleaning, the latest mini-event in Springfield, is full of content we’ve been asking for! (Springfield U, Alice Glick, Land Tokens..to say the least!) And of course, an all-new mini-event provides a great excuse for EA to throw premium content at us!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Golden Goose Realty to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this land gold mine to your town…
Building/Decoration: Golden Goose Realty
Donut Cost: 150 Donuts
Size: 6×7
Earns: 1 land token/12hrs. After you’ve purchased all the land in Springfield it will revert to paying out $300, 30xp/12hrs. (if more land becomes available at another date, AFTER you’ve purchased all of the land it should go back to earning land tokens)
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +20
Can Be Placed: grass|pavement|boardwalk|pier|dirt

Pros
-Earns land tokens, perfect for those of you who run out of land quickly..or those of you who are worried you’ll run out of land
-When you’ve purchased all of the land you can convert tokens to donuts. 1 token=12 donuts. (again please read this post prior to buying all of the land)
-Comes with a fun questline for Mr. Burns & Jay G
Cons
-Once you’ve purchased all of the land it reverts to earning cash and XP (likely until more land is available to purchase), so you can’t build up land tokens..if you’ve purchased all the land.
-150 donuts is pricey for a building without a character
Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
Buy it. Doesn’t matter your player status, this item is something ALL players can benefit from. Whether you’ve maxed out your land or barely used any. This is something that is completely worth purchasing. Especially since you can convert (eventually) unused land tokens to donuts.
Don’t think, just buy. This is the best premium item offered with this event and if you can only get 1 thing…get this.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I already picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Ive been playing since the beginning until recently when you have to have access to the email you started the app with. I am bummed out. Can no longer play and kinda pissed because I have a ton of years and money in the game. Does anyone know how I can just put the email and password in again?!
I wasn’t playing when this was released in 2019, has it been released since & is there another way to get it? Thanks
It was back in February of this year and will probably be back in 2021
It seems mediocre at best since the land is expensive at first but as you level up and buy all the expensive buildings you get lots of cash to buy up remaining land. I think the costmo is a better deal because it generates 6 donuts every 24 hours.
Is there a way to immediately check if this is in your town? I’ve been looking all over my map for half a hour but I can’t see it… still it sounds so weird to me that I didn’t buy something unique like this!

So…is there any way to get donuts for land tokens anymore? I have GGR and JUST hit the “you have enough tokens for all land.” If I buy all of the land now, will I be able to exchange any tokens won during events and such for donuts? Or has that ship sailed? Thx

After giving 300 land tokens, it changed to cash and can’t be changed back. The land tokens were more valuable and they can’t change it back. I contacted asked it be fixed. I was told to complain in the forum. Instead I created a poll and put what happened. Hopefully no one else has had this problem. Wonder if the donut factor turns to cash after 300 donuts? How about letting us convert donuts into land tokens?
Why do you need more land tokens than available land to buy?
When/if they release more land it’ll go back to earning tokens.
I got a popup stating that I had collected enough land tokens to purchase all the land and that GGR would “earn cash and xp at a premium rate”. That’s it. I was directed to the store where I could exchange one land token for 12 donuts, which was all I had left after I -reluctantly- spent all of the tokens I had on all of the land. I would have preferred the token-for-donuts exchange over the meagre payout I get now…
Hi, unfortunately, I missed to buy the Golden Goose Realty and meanwhile I used up all my land tokens. At the moment there are still some land tiles which I can buy with in-game currency. But all other land tiles which require a land token are grayed out. I am afraid that I will no longer be able to unlock land tiles as soon as I bought all land available for in-game currency.
Do you know if the land tiles requiring land tokens will change to in-game currency in no other in-game currency land is available? Or will I just not be able to unlock any more land if I do not have land tokens?

I have yet got the option in store to swap for 12 donuts. And I have a lot of land to purchase and haven’t unlocked all the free tiles. Have about 18 or so. Am I not understanding this

Just a heads up. Stay clear of those last twelve or so land slots in the far right corner. After they open up, your Golden Goose is just another decoration.
