Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
We’re a few weeks into 2019 and it’s time for our first update of the year! Not Yet Spring Cleaning, the latest mini-event in Springfield, is full of content we’ve been asking for! (Springfield U, Alice Glick, Land Tokens..to say the least!)
Of course, as with all events, there’s new premium content filling our stores. New premium content generally means new premium characters. And new premium characters mean…a whole new questline to work through!
So let’s take a look at the questline for the lone, new, premium character…Lewis Clark…
The Mighty Explorers Pt. 1
Lewis starts
Lewis Clark: *panting* Am I back? How much time has passed?
Bart: Since school ended? About five minutes.
Lewis Clark: Since the explosion.
Bart: Oh yeah, explosion. I always forget that’s what reset the world.
Lewis Clark: Haven’t you noticed I’ve been gone since then?!
Bart: Look, dude, a lot of people disappeared. I can’t remember every single side character. So, what’ve you been up to?
Lewis Clark: Oh, nothing much. Just trying to save the world.

Lewis Clark: It all started when I was inside the Brown House investigating a strange pattern of child disappearances…I heard whispering coming from inside a closet–

Lewis Clark: I have to get all the details in so people understand.
Bart: You’ve got to tell your story in quick, punchy bursts, otherwise people are gonna tap right through.
Lewis Clark: No, don’t tap through! My tale is exciting!
Bart: Look, ditch the tale. Let’s just play video games.
Lewis Clark: That does sound more exciting!
The Mighty Explorers Pt. 2
Lewis starts
Lewis Clark: So, what’s changed in the world since I’ve been gone?
Bart: Wow, a lot. You may want to sit down for this.
Lewis Clark: What is it?
Bart: In November of 2016…I beat your high score in Space Blasters.
Lewis Clark: NOOOOOO!

Bart: Aw man! All I do is lose this week. First our Mighty Pigs hockey game, now this.
Lewis Clark: The Mighty Pigs are on a losing streak?
Bart: I don’t remember the last time we won.
Lewis Clark: Round up the team. I may be able to help.
The Mighty Explorers Pt. 3
Lewis starts
Lewis Clark: Thanks for coming, it’s great to see you all again.
Lisa: Lewis?! Where have you been?
Lewis Clark: After the explosion, I was stuck in a never-ending void of nothingness. I had only one item to keep me from going completely insane……the screenplay for the 1992 film “The Mighty Ducks”. Using the knowledge I learned from that sacred tome, I’m going to lead this hockey team to victory!

Dolph: Wow, I feel like a new player! Now I can slash people with my new skates instead of with butter knives tied to the bottom of my sneakers.

Lewis starts
Lewis Clark: Next step is to make your coach pick between his career and his love for the team.
Wiggum: Are you crazy? I’m not choosing this team over my job that actually pays me! I only do this because Ralphie has gone through every baby sitter in town.
Ralph: I broke my finger but never told anyone!
Wiggum: You’re gonna have to figure something else out to motivate me to care about the team.

Wiggum: I don’t know what happened. I showed up to work and they said they found drugs in my desk. I only keep bribes, illegal guns and incriminating photos of myself in that drawer! Now Lou’s the chief. He’s probably going to rub it in my face. I’ll show him… by winning at youth hockey!
Lewis Clark: Jackpot!

Lewis starts
Lewis Clark: Now the last and most important step.
Lisa: We come together as a team, using skills we didn’t know we had to beat the other team?!
Lewis Clark: No, you guys stink. You have no skills, that’s why you lose all the time.
Bart: So what’s this secret trick?
Lewis Clark: We use a technicality to make the best kid from the next town over play for our team and score all the goals.
Lisa: Oh…
Bart: But we all get trophies if we win, right?
Lewis Clark: Yeah.
Bart & Lisa: Yay!

Lewis Clark: Congratulations, guys! I knew you could win!
Bart: We owe it all to you!
Lisa: So, what will you do now that you’re back in the world?
Lewis Clark: I don’t know. I sorta miss the solitude of the void.
Lisa: Are… are you thinking of going back there?
Lewis Clark: No, I’m just going to go to the new Mark Wahlberg movie. Should be pretty empty in there.
Bart: Oh man! You really learned how to zing while you were gone!

Someone please help me. I have yet got update or quest line for this I get pop up clean up. No new character no quest. Nothing for last week.
You didn’t get the Not Yet Spring Cleaning questline?
If you didn’t maybe you’re at the wrong level (you need to be level 20), if you did that’s the last questline in the game. Once you complete it there’s nothing new available until more content is released.
Good to see this patch brought back the missing Christmas tree lot and also the missing current quest icon in the top right corner. I feel like EA owes me 900 donuts for the anxiety it caused.

Just logged into the game and experienced an update.
And when the game launched, I had FIFTEEN new characters.
Three brand new
Two requested from old episodes, and
TEN re-occurring from the Clashof the Clones Event!
Can you believe it!

You do know your user name is full of numbers. There’s
– 74, at the end of your user name
– 10 for the number of toes you have (unless you have polydactyly)
– 12 if you add the numbers 1 + 0 + 7 + 4
– 122 if you add up the sum of all letters in your name (S = 19, A = 1, N = 14, etc)
– 11 if you add 7 + 4
– 11 if you also count the characters in your username
– 3 if you subtract 7 – 4
– 28 if you multiply 7 x 4
– 1.75 if you divide 7 / 4 (or express 7/4 fraction in decimal form)
– 2,401 if you take 7 ^ 4
– 840 if you look at the permutations of 7P4
– 35 if you look at the combinations of 7C4
– 240 if you multiply 10 x 74
