We’re back and we have so much to talk about! In this first live episode of 2019, we’re breaking down the latest mini-event to hit our towns…Not Yet Spring Cleaning. We’re talking all things Alice Glick, the Brown House Storyline, the Goose that laid the Golden Land Tile, and as always we’re fielding your questions! PLUS…we share some details about info for the next event we received from EA. You won’t want to miss the antics and tangents of this episode, so join us live for the for all the soul-sucking fun! My family does the month long birthdays 😂 We started as a day before and day after celebrations, then it went to a week, then a month… My poor brother was born in December so he loses party time to Christmas lol
I really appreciate that you guys don’t post fake news 😉 I’m excited for the next event 😀 I hope EA keeps putting extra effort into the game (it makes me feel more secure about this game longevity… as long as it keeps updating with awesomeness I think it will keep going).

Thanks, that was fun — I just now (Saturday evening) got to watch (and worked on designing a Springfield U campus in my main game while watching, so win-win). Love how you three all seem to enjoy hanging out with each other. Looking forward to the upcoming event!
I suppose that for the hardcore donut farmers who can get a few hundred donuts per day, spending a few thousand donuts to speed up the GGR to get all the available land isn’t that far-fetched. Might be worth it in case things change and land isn’t quite as easy to snag after this. I would do it if I could.
I wonder if the new feature for the next event is a “clear all” building.
What was the update that came through today? There was a notification this morning as well and then it went to a screen that showed one more segment to the quest line but now I can’t find it.

Absolutely agree with you on the GGR.
Overall, I was lukewarm on the event. It just felt like they were just trying to piece a few things together and build a storyline to give us something to do.
Though I thought the premium items were good, kudos on the GGR, glad to complete my stonecutters collection though the tunnel and table weren’t pickups for me. I’m glad to add another one of the old school kids (Lewis) though.
I like the idea of adding Springfield University, but I wish there was more to it. It needs some additional matching buildings or decor items…like the Magic School…to really make a university area.
I honestly wish they built an event around it somehow. I actually left a good chunk of my SH area for a university
So many possibilities for college themed buildings besides just dorms and halls…food trucks, pizza places, bars, bicycle shops, coffee hotspots. Maybe even a “crocs” shop with real crocs…lots of funny possibilities.😆
I had cleared a big space assuming this was going to be a big one ( The University ) was a bit disappointed when the thing actually arrived!
So nice to have Wookie with us…he always brings lots of laughs!
Oh and i also love not needing Homer for stuff!! I have him doing different outside stuff every 4 hrs…..tasks i miss seeing! Oh yea….cheap thrills!😀
Yesssss!!! I’m totally with you on that.. I love having homer wandering about .. I’m also obsessed with him and Marge’s romantic strolling lol.. 😁
On one hand, it seemed like a very uneventful event. I didn’t enjoy the story and it was mostly something to keep me busy.
On the other hand, I’m impressed Alice Glick was not in the game yet, it was about time! And I love the Springfield University building. And, of course, Golden Goose Realty is that premium building too good to be true. So in the end I got a not very exciting event but actually incredible prizes. Nice.
(now I’m hoping it takes at least two weeks to start a new event, since I want to complete my remaining quests and develop my Springfield a bit further!)
Would an uneventual event be considered an oxymoron?

I really liked that we got an an old school character and it didnt require crazy crafting, etc. It was fun….good prizes, easily achievable, laid-back mini event! Hope they keep it up! Happy Snow Day! Yuck.❄🚫
I’ve wanted to build an university campus for a long time with buildings from the “magic event”. Really happy to have university building as the “entrance”. Having the Golden Goose is also allowing me to do a big and long awaited redesign. I do a “middle out” redesign strategy where I slide everything east and south to open up land in the middle. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to shift since I had to save up a lot of land tiles for to do one row or column of shifting.
I have really been enjoying this mini event. I consider it to be a regular good standard mini event. I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s coming next. My favorite parts of the mini event are that we finally got Alice Glick and Lewis in the game and Springfield university.
I also really like the golden goose realty building even though I have quite a bit of land tokens it’s always nice to get more through that building even though we get them through mini and major events.
Where can I get those Christmas figures like the ones of Ralphie licking the welcome to Springfield sign and the one of homer trying to build a snowman?
