Springfield Showoff: Not Yet Spring Cleaning

As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.

We’re nearing done with the first event of 2019!  And I know it’s unusual, but I want to see what you’ve done with all of this Spring Cleaning Stuff!  With two houses, a university, a hockey rink, and a factory I want to see what you’ve done with all of this stuff!  How you incorporated it into Springfield, and if it’s all working for you. It can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always you guys came through big time!  You guys have some great designs and ideas so let’s take a look:

Once again we’ve used a Gallery to display your images. This allows us to get all of your images displayed, and show off your hard work!  Simply tap the images below to be taken to the slideshow.  The name of the creator will be listed at bottom of each pic. (and as always they’re in alphabetical order)

I tried to get everyone that I saw into the showoff.  Even a few that arrived after the deadline (since I pushed back the posting time I accepted the few that arrived beyond the 8pm cutoff).  If I missed yours I’m sorry! And please remember only send 1 or 2 images.  If you send more I just pick 2 randomly and they may not be your 2 favorites….

Whew!  You guys really liked showing off your towns and we loved checking them out!  You all did such a great job…you gave us some great ideas! What did you all think of your fellow Addict’s designs?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

Stay tuned for the next Showoff announcement!  In the meantime keep designing those Springfields!

  1. I missed the deadline but wanted to share my skating rink, which replaced a natural ice rink.

  2. Great job people 😀 I saw that a few of you used the torches for building walkways… Has anyone else figured out other design uses for them? I’m probably going to copy the walkway idea… but I have like 100 and don’t want to be too repetitive with my decorations X/

    • I’ve placed most of my torches in the Halloween area, and have moved on to the Stonecutters Tunnel Entry and Lodge.

  3. My game has been messed up for over a year tap radius, character button, monorail, some mini games, new Springfield. i found ea has help number and called it they told me there is no way to fix the game unless they delete all progress. is there anyway to get the game fixed with out losing a year and a half of progress?

    • Unfortunately not. This is the dreaded rollback bug and the only cure is to rollback or get a new game…

      • That stinks. I made my town with only 1 road with all the building used for 4 and 8 hour quest and moved all other building and uses pavement for roads so Toons don’t wander off.
You would think they could nuke you town and put all building, decorations and characters in a box and drop them in new land/game.

    • I think that I would take the rollback and ask EA for as much cash and donuts as you’ve spent in the last year so you can rebuild. If you know how much money you pull in each day and how many donuts you usually spend on an event (an average), you should be able to come up with a pretty close figure to ask for. Good luck.👍😁

  4. My game keeps telling me that I haven’t finished the final spring cleaning task, yet the icon on the left of the screen is gone and there’s nothing highlighted for Alex Glick to do. What am I missing?

    • Is her questline visible in your task book? If yes, complete that questline. If no, you’ll likely have to contact EA, something is stuck somewhere for a number of players.

    • The same thing happened to me…I’ve completed everything and used the animation prize to complete the quest. Still the last prize isn’t checked off. Since the animation works and shows up in her tasks list, I’m not worrying about it. Prize track will disappear tomorrow anyway, so no problem.

      • I have the same situation. I think I’ll put Alice on that task tomorrow morning before I go to work and she if it’s completed and/or still there after the new event hits.

  5. Any ideas when the next event/mini-event will roll out?

  6. BRAVO !! 🙌 I am constantly amazed at how creative and imaginative my fellow tapperrs’s are. Taking into account that all they have to work with is a house or other type of building to work with, and no design tools it’s incredible what you guys come up with. Give yourselves a high five. 👏👏👏👐

  7. Very good, very good indeed! Bravo, tappers! 👏
