Love is in the air friends! Yes, Valentine’s Day is back in our pocket-sized towns! And this time around things are going to be done, Springfieldian Syle.
Love, Springfieldian Style follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special event followed. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

I enjoyed the Buildings for Act 1 Prizes (can’t say no to free Land Tokens), I just wish they had permanent Character Tasks (maybe EA will make it so?) 🤔
Oh, noes! I am away from TSTO Addicts for a couple of days, and I’m unaware that a a new update is available until the game forces me to update. Today (1/24). ::sob::

Bought CBGB, so having Ned’s parents on the job should help me catch up. 🙂
Since this update I cannot shrink my town it remains very large and it is hard to navigate any suggestions?

thanks so much for the break down! thank goodness this site is here… reminded me about that dumb SCROLL bar!. LOL Ugh! I also need to not be so finger trigger happy… I need to WAIT once I clear everyone, let currency total up and THEN see what tasks are still open and how many more I need. I put some of the kids for the $ quest (when I already fulfilled the 3 of 3! Yeah it was DONE) and shorted myself kids for the poem currency. Never mind Sky Finger… like a Trigger Finger! Need to SLOW down. LOL nice event so far. Love the mystery box and the photo option is pretty cool function. 🙂

The event looks interesting so far and seeing a true train station and not monorail stations has me beginning to wonder if we’ll see a train coming to town at some point.

Ebron, by any chance, do you physically live near an ocean?
Lived within 10 miles of the Atlantic ocean most of my life, and usually within a mile or so of some kind of water. Also, 5 years in Hawaii…now there’s some water! I currently live 2 blocks from the Ogeechee river, just south of Savannah Georgia, but the “old homestead” in Florida, where I grew up, is still on a long island just off the east coast. The street where the house is located has a river at one end and a different river at the other end (the street is only 3 blocks long) so yeah, I guess water has always been a part of my life.

too bad you cant turn the beach tiles to water … or have half water half beach that u can design a bay with or what not
I was just thinking the same thing this morning…would be nice to have specific tiles that could connect a river (or lake) to the ocean (like the dam connects to the river). It would be fun to build a small beach town around a bay…with a boardwalk around the water’s edge (like the venice houses). Just sayin…😁
This makes the task of copying- I mean, taking inspiration from your city, all the more challenging! XD
Has there been any word on the sorry state of the game on Amazon tablets? Given EA’s track record…they will acknowledge the zoom problem sometime in the next 4 months and finally solve it around 5 – 8 months after that, lol

I would be much more inclined to actually spend real world $$ if we could purchase them a la carte with donuts. There’s just to many things that I don’t want\care for to warrant spending donuts so that “maybe” i’ll get what I want, just saying imho. Other wise the content is great keep it coming.
I’m addicted to Mystery Boxes!! I LOVE them because I love surprises.
If you plan to be a LONG time player you can gamble a few this time and then get the rest next valentines day … I am fairly certain they were the EXACT same prizes last year … I only have 2 left I was unable to get last year

Man all I can say is that EA has upped their game and breathed fresh life into this game. I was on the verge of just getting to 939 and calling it quits, but this new style of play and the loads of content we’re getting. Being able to buy instead of craft, producing land tokens and donuts, it’s almost like I just started to play. They’ve heard our cries and delivered. I only hope they keep it up, abuse not only am I happy with it, I’m looking forward and excited on upcoming events!

Finally got the internet back on about 10 minutes ago…been out for over a day (road being widened nearby and they evidently took out a stretch of cable…sheesh!). Came here first before hitting the game, but now I’m off to the races! 😄
Awww thanks Ebron!☺️ I would miss you and that spectacularly redesigned town of yours very much too! This is one of the reasons I’ve played for as long as I have. I was just getting a little run down of the repetitiveness. But feel a little rejuvenated on the direction the game is going. I hope they keep it up.
Just a thought, is there a Springfield showcase thread for us to post our new city pics to, or maybe piggyback one on an Add Neighbors thread? May be nice to show off and recruit friends at the same time, too.

Yes 199 donuts is way too much. Yes I do KEM farm. Yes I have wanted this character since day one (having commented on both Tips and Friends). Yes I got her first thing this morning and yes this is the first time I took good ole Gill up on his offer. So far really liking this event.
