Love is in the air friends! Yes, Valentine’s Day is back in our pocket-sized towns! And this time around things are going to be done, Springfieldian Style.
Love, Springfieldian Style follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special event followed. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 3, Act 3, we’re following a cop tale as told by Bart and the prizes we unlock all fit into the Bart to Another Future theme.
So let’s take a look at the third and fourth prizes this week, Future Bundle and Olde Springfield Towne…
First up, prize 3, the Future Bundle…
How You Unlock it:
Bart to Another Future Pt. 3
Make Bart Find the Time Hostage- 4hrs
Collect Holo-Valentines- x250.
Once achieved you’ll unlock the Future Bundle…

Build Time: Plastic Surgery Center is 4hrs to build, and you’ll need to build it to complete Part 4 of the questline.

What Does it Do?: No questline associated with these. Selma (that’s new) will have a 4hr task at the Plastic Surgery Center to “Get a Tail” and Patty has one there as well to “Get Cat Ears”. The limo is animated when tapped (hovers and has “lights”…more like laser beams…shine from headlights

Build Time: 4hrs, and you’ll need to build this to complete part 5 of the Bart to Another Future questline

What Does it Do?: No questline associated with this one. Grampa does have a 4hr task here, “Yell at Info Kiosks”

I added the future limo and plastic surgery centre in a zenith city area I started designing. I’m glad that Patty and Selma has tasks at the centre just like Miss Hoover does at the school from act 1 since they don’t get new tasks very often. The towne would look great with some old-ish buildings like Fort Sensible and the historical society.
I don’t think I received the Future Limo. I did get the Plastic Surgery Center but no limo. I can’t find it in my inventory either. Anyone else missing the limo? Maybe it got plopped somewhere in my Springfield & I didn’t see it.

Just keep playing i guess, I counted 8 churches in my town😉

Well we’ve had a Church of Lard Lad from a prior Halloween , along with everyone’s favourite Sarcastic Priest’s Boss (he loves to golf, is voiced and – yep – comes with a mirrored Cathedral), while Krusty’s Dad is a Rabbi with his own Synagogue – I’m sure that I left out one more …. if you don’t have any of these? I do hope they come up via Mystery Box (perhaps we will get a Shelbyville Church?) 🤔
As others have said, I also found 8 churches with just a quick glance through my Springfield, and I’m only sort of premium. There’s:
– First Church of Springfield
– St. Paul’s Cathedral
– St. Paul’s Basilica
– Medieval Cathedral
– Westminster Abbey
– Cut-Glass Cathedral
– Notre Dame of Springfield
– Old Cathedral
Other religious/wedding related buildings/decorations:
– Springfield Buddhist Temple
– Temple Beth Springfield
– Manger Scene (weren’t there two of them?)
– Rigellian Manger
– Jesus’ Carpentry Shop
– Heavenly Swing Set
– Springfield Henge
– Impulse Wedding Chapel
– Shotgun Pete’s Wedding Chapel
– “Angel” statues
– Shiva statues
I’d say they’re doing a pretty good job of including religious buildings to counter the sin buildings. You may have an argument if you wanted to talk about which buildings were freemium vs premium, but I’d argue that the freemium content matches the show fairly well, whereas you’d have to spend donuts if you want to church it up and balance it all out.
Plastic surgery center = instant storage. One in Springfield Heights is plenty for me. I like the look of Old Springfield Towne though. Will go nicely in my historical district with the museum and flop house.
The buildings look good, its fitting them into my Springfield, think it’s now getting down to individual designing of Springfield, I think a new peice of land designated to shelbyville with all the new stuff put there, and more work on my train track area lol 😁💐

I love the prizes… individually they’re pretty good, I’m just not sure I’m up to designing 3 new areas to accomodate them during a single event. For now, all the “wierd stuff” goes into storage till I see what direction they’re heading in part 4.
What’s coming up next…Outer Space Simpsons? Neanderthal Simpsons? The Shrimpsons? (That might actually be fun…it was a great couch gag…Google it.😄)
I was thinking about re-creating my future area so I could use the tunnel as an entrance, but I’m gonna wait to see what comes next…it’s just getting too confusing.

Plastic surgery centre was an instant build for me.
I am enjoying the shorter events, especially happy about this one as i have a short holiday booked at the end of it.
