It’s officially 10am here on the East Coast which means it’s officially time to start Act 4 (week 4) of the Love, Springfieldian Style Event!
This is the FINAL Week of this Event. Which means when this is over the entire event is over. So you only have until February 19th to finish the prize track questlines with this event. Also important to note that Week 4 is only 6 days instead of 6 like the others. The event ends next TUESDAY, Feb 19th.

Snake: Alright, my dudes, I’m going to tell you a story about some random dogs. None of this is real, okay?
As you can see you’ll need to do 4hr tasks for Lisa and Snake before you trigger the Act 4 task box…
So, Snake is driving the story for this final Act. I’m not going to share the Week 4 Synopsis just yet because the details include a spoiler for what happens at the end of the event (dialogue-wise) and I know some of you are invested in this story so I won’t ruin it for you. So I’ll post that synopsis with the Week 4 dialogue…

If EA continues with this format for their events then your job certainly becomes a lot easier Alissa. So little info required for such simple repetitive actions on our part. This of course will suit some players but not all.
Also when it comes to the end of the year & we compare events……..? let’s just say that will be interesting.
I liked the more relaxed pace through the holidays and enjoyed the dialogue and story line. I was initially excited about the event prizes and premiums but quickly lost interest. Didn’t think the dialogue was nearly as good. Ive also been disappointed with the visual tasks for the new characters. Wish I had gotten Nikki instead of Samantha. Started with a Bergstrom and ending with a whimper.

I got Chazz Busby immediately. I didn’t even hesitate. I don’t know why because normally I take my sweet dang time trying to decide if I should spend my hard earned sprinkles!!! Must be that sexy outfit 😍
In one of my additional spring fields I haven’t got Snake yet and can’t get act 4 to start. Is there any way around this?
nope, unfortunately not. He’s central to Act 4, need him to progress.

First off, has anyone else noticed that you can now get a free land token as a bonus prize for doing daily challenges? Super surprised by that.
I am of two minds of how I like this event and the new major-mini-event layout.
The good: No crafting, four weeks instead of six, more characters to collect, better story dialog.
The bad: Not as many returning items from previous events or similar events (returning items such as the time toaster event or the dog that looks like Homer), not as many new event decorations to purchase with in-game cash or donuts.
Now I do wish that the four weeks of prizes tied together a bit better, but since I cannot think of any of the last few major events over the last few years that did not have a few buildings or decorations that I had to ask how it was tied in to the event I’m not surprised by it.
I will also say that I still wish that there were more joint tasks for characters and that those tasks were outdoor tasks. Of course if I’m going to wish for that I should wish that the Unemployment Office allowed us to choose between outdoor and indoor tasks and that all task times were available at the office too.
Oh well, one can wish and hope.

Yeah the prizes for daily challenges seem to have gotten a lot better lately. Sometimes you get 3 donuts for one half hour task. The addition of land tokens s a nice development!
I haven’t seen that yet so good to know 😊🇬🇧 I seem to be plagued by SH tasks I don’t want and have to reject 🤷♀️
If I get a SH challenge with just 5 items to collect, I often just use the Googolplex cinema to produce the stuff and be done with it.
I agree with your points about the event layout. I do wish that there was more returning or new content available since there were 2 maybe 3 opportunities for there to be a sale or something added. There could’ve been a Chinese New Year sale last week with the returning Chinese items, a big game update 2 weeks ago with sports items returning, and a future sale with items returning from the Sci-Fi event. I like getting the valentine items and that some of them are available for cash which I can stock up on for future designs.
