Just a reminder that the Valentines Event Ends TOMORROW February 19th.
As far as questlines go, what’s happened in the past is that the current prize you’re working on (on any questline) you were able to finish. Once that current prize was completed then the questline disappeared.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.
But there’s a good chance you’ll see a mini event hit our games once this event is over…or Wednesday 🤷♀️, it’s EA so who the heck knows…
Now as far as to what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…
- Questlines linked directly to the progression of the Event will go. Like the Main Questlines that pulled you through all 4 Weeks.
- However, the questlines linked directly to the prizes and Premium Characters you’ve won will remain. (so Gloria, Chazz etc)
- The event removal will likely require an app store update to fully remove it from your game. So don’t panic when the timer runs down and the event isn’t out of your game… It may require an app store update to remove everything.
I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of the collection as far as you can. However, with the last few events EA has really shut off the ability to play on “borrowed time”. In other words, once the timer runs out the ability to collect prizes ends. So don’t count on getting any extra time with this one. Try to finish everything up before the timer runs out tomorrow morning.
So finish up those questlines, relax, and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.
Oh and don’t be surprised if we see a mini-event hit tomorrow with the removal. As we’ve been saying for a long time…mini-events are downtime. There’s never going to be a period where nothing is going on in the game, they’ll constantly update to keep players engaged. They may be small updates, designed to finish quickly and then enjoy some downtime before a timer runs out, but you’ll never see a massive amount of time without new content in this game. You may get a day or two, but not weeks.

I’ve been an every day tapper for 2 years+. Love this game.
However there’s too many mini-games lately and I was very disappointed with this past Xmas. My favorite TO game ever was Halloween 2017. It was really fun killing monsters all over town!
Also I wish they could give me more things to spend cash on. At this point Donuts is the ONLY thing I need. Especially now that I have unlimited land tokens coming in from Golden Goose Real Estate.

I’m in no rush for anything new …. we’ve got 2 more Seasons on FOX TV (of interest, the Walt Disney Company will now own 2 intellectual properties within Universal Studios theme parks – let’s see how quickly Team Disney Burbank barters with Team Universal / Comcast to own 100% rights to The Simpsons if they relinquish their rights to Marvel in their theme parks)
Hi all! Now that the event has ended, as you said any current task you are able to complete once the event has ended – I have two final prizes on two of the tasks but I’m really not bothered about the final two prizes and just want to clear my task bar! Does anyone know when they will disappear for good?
As Harry Shearer is allready doing voices on the show I wish for a Spinal Tap major event. This event was only buildings I didn’t needed.

What time will the event end? Will it end sometime in the day of the 19th like at 10am or 12 pm or will it end on midnight? Just wondering because I need 2 more prizes for snakes quest line and I need to do at least 3 more rounds of jobs to reach the last prize

This event was boring to me. All it seemed like was logging in every 4 hours, clear and reset. I don’t miss the crafting so much, but I do miss events where we interacted with “neighbors” and had more going on. I’m probably not going to get the last prize and I don’t really care, I don’t really need another NPC anyways. I’ll be waiting to see what the next event has in store. Just my 2 cents.

As a long term player; I’ve stopped visiting friends & don’t always clear both my towns fully each day. I’m not feeling the vibe I used to feel after playing consistently for all those years. It seems like EA has been throwing together all sorts of weird stuff from their developers / designers that don’t make real sense to the game play. JMHO – Cranky old lady!
Easy going event. Didn’t really get into the quest plots much but picked up everything I wanted:
Flanders parents, Vegas wives, emptied the mystery box except the plane buffet and all questline prizes. Some good’ns in there too with Jenda and Gloria. Was considering praiseland but thought the price was a bit high. I’ll just wait and hope the character turns up in a future mystery box.
St Pats day not far away. I can’t be the only one hoping for a return of the oldschool Whacking Day event!?

I already finished and did manage to get everything I wanted including Mindy and Mona. Now I am wondering if this event is a sign of them maybe adding more Shelbyville stuff so far we only got 2 Shelbyville characters I believe.
I know groundskeeper Wilma, but what’s the second one? Is it Luann? If it isn’t then shes the 3rd one
I started “tapping” late in the game, so I’m not going to get everything I wanted. Even still, I managed to earn the Springfield Planetarium this morning and hopefully, I’ll have the Shellbyville Bundle by tonight. So…woo hoo!! Thanks for all the helpful tips. I’ve enjoyed reading your posts. 😀

I wish EA would stop the events until spring so that the programmers could focus on fixing some of the quality issue and maybe address some of our feature requests.
Seems a bit too much time. I want a major event, the rest can be promos and mini events for all I care
Rumor has it that there will be nothing but mini type events throughout 2019.
I was hoping for a break, then maybe a major Easter event.

Hmmm, there is a fine line between the two, but I think speculation would be more accurate.
I hope for some major events in 2019. If this rumor comes true, I will probably get very bored.

I got a message today at 16:58 GMT Stating the event ends in 22 hours and 2 mins making for an end time exactly 15:00 GMT tomorrow.
I definitely wanted to get more items out of the mystery box but I only have 32 donuts so far 🤷🏻♀️But anyway, I finally got Mona and she was the one I really wanted. As for the event, I finished already, I’m just completing Gloria’s tasks right now, so I’m ready for the next event!!!
