Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
After a week hiatus, we finally have some new content in Springfield! A new mini-event went live in our games yesterday morning…State of Despair. Apparently, Governor Bailey is trying to give Springfield the old boot! How will Springfield respond? Well, you have to read the dialogue and play along to find out!
Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini event is your typical standard mini-event. Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all new prizes…

Well, the Mystery Spot (Building) and Governor Bailey (Character) without a Governor’s Mansion – I’ll take these two freebies and ignore the rest! 😉
I’m too busy redoing my Springfield to care for this Mini Event, although I appreciate the new Land Tiles (what gives? all this new Land, but still a huge vacant space adjacent to Springfield Heights?) and I will pass on the Premiums, because my Sprinkles will be spent on St. Patrick’s instead! 🍀
I have such bad luck I can’t even get a glitch that does something good . My glitch consisted of some of my KEMs weren’t producing money
Glitch….go to friends, then back home…Lard Lad Donut Factory is reloaded.
Can no longer hoard land tokens….once you have enough tokens, Golden Goose Realty turns to normal currency…doesn’t matter anymore if you leave some land locked.
Max out is enough to unlock all available.
Does that only include the token only land spaces, or do you still get allowance for sea tiles that are unbought?
Includes all….once you’re able to unlock all land, GGR switches to money/xp payout.
There’s something weird happening with Ploppers Crap Silo. Every time I go to my friends and back it pays out cash and XP’s. Is this happening to anyone else.
The same thing is happening with my Nero’s Palace Casino, Ajax Steel Mill and General Store. I don’t know if I should keep doing it, feels like I’m cheating.
Happened to me with Golden Goose Realty. Maxed out my land tokens.
Wish it would happen with my Golden Goose Realty but it didn’t but does for my other buildings
Wish it happened for my GGR too. Happens with Ice Palace, roller rink, (all?) Krustyland attractions including nurses stations … … probably about 2 dozen different buildings. Nice find!

I feel these events are a bit dull, weres the challenge.
Don’t forget, it’s a mini event. All they did was replace standard Level Updates. Never really a challenge with them, just questline to follow and items to get.
It’s a tap game, with endless farming and glitches galore…when was there a challenge?

Indeed, this is a boring addition to the game, the prizes, even the mini event mystery box ones are crap this time, wake me when it’s over lol!
If you don’t acquire all the land before they patch the glitch…we can’t be friends.
It is mind boggling trying to figure out the theme but looks like it is going to be interesting.

One note: the price of the Brown House actually depends on how many you have already (mine, for example, required 420$).
If you already have a brown house and don’t want to buy another one, you can store it and place it to meet the build requirement.
