Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the parts of the State of Mine questline, you’ll have to earn  via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

  1. the Mystery Spot

    Quite an odd Building –
    I like it a lot!
    Not in Springfield –
    In Shelbyville, for me!
    Permanent Character Tasks
    (Thanks EA)☺️

  2. Has anyone else noticed Little Lisa’s Recycling Center is paying out every 2 hours? The timer is still set to, and counts down from 4 hours, but pays blueprints every 2 hours. A nice little treat until EA fixes it. Now if Golden Goose Realty and Donut Factory would do the same…

  3. I use my phone to play and I can’t read the small text on the sign. This happens a lot with my bad eyes and small screen. Can anyone tell me what it says? ☺️

    • “Springfield
      MYSTERY
      SPOT
      where logic takes
      a holiday and all
      laws of nature
      are meaningless”

  4. This is an interesting building since its animation only appears when its tapped and not used by Krusty, Milhouse and Sophie but if it is used by one of the three then the animation doesn’t work until their task is done. I wish the animation lasted longer than a few seconds because its so mesmerising to look at. Now I got to find somewhere to put it in my town. 😀

    • I’m going to try to fit it into my county fair area…maybe next to the hypnotist.😁👁😁

      • I now plan on adding the bird feeder (maybe the museum) and the memorials in a Capital City area even though I only have 2 CC buildings and maybe put the mystery spot in krustyland or I&S land.

  5. Has anyone else’s purple houses stopped generating income? It’s been happening to me since this update! So I’m excited but at the same time I’m not getting any mula!

  6. Sounds like it’s going in my Krustyland.
Yay! A task for Sophie! More tasks for underrepresented characters!

  7. OT: Does anybody know if there will be a mystery box for St Patrick’s day like last year? 🍀

  8. Lisahadathought

The animation when it’s tapped is really cool. I wonder why you don’t see it when a character has a task there. It’s very disappointing.

  9. Aside from the Skyfinger and free land ( that I won’t be using for sometime yet ) this event is somewhat underwhelming. On the upside I have been making good progress with donut farming and buying mystery boxes. And of course GGR, the gift that keeps on giving has accelerated the growth of my town massively.

    • Rusty Shackleford

I agree. After obtaining the first two prizes, I’m just not interested in the rest, and so my characters are back to earning money for farming. I’m using the farmed donuts to get some of the premium characters and bonus items. This is not a complaint, I’m just kicking back and enjoying the time off.

I’m hoping for a St Patty’s day mystery box though.

  10. And Ozzie Smith seems to have vanished off the face of the earth…..

    Go Cubbies!!!!!

    • We’re coming for you Ozzie!

    • Burns: For the last time, get rid of those sideburns.
Mattingly: I don’t know what you think sideburns are, but—
Burns: Don’t argue with me! Just get rid of them!

Burns: Mattingly! I told you to trim those sideburns.
Go home! You’re off the team! For good!
Mattingly: Fine. I still like him better than Steinbrenner.

  11. Wonderful animation!
Wish it was permanently like that 😄

  12. “WDTCF: Only the best episode ever…” hahahahahahaha
Thanks Alissa, that made my day! <3

    • My unbiased opinion…of course 😂😂😂

      • Well Mr. Burns had done it. The power plant had won it. With Roger Clemens clucking all the while…Mike Scioscia’s tragic illness made us smile…while Wade Boggs lay unconscious on the barroom tile…

        • Talkin’ softball…from maine to san diego…talkin’ softball…Mattingly and Canseco…talkin’ softball…Ken Griffey’s grotesquely swollen jaw
