After a week hiatus, we finally have some new content in Springfield! A new mini-event went live in our games…State of Despair. New event means new prizes to earn and new prizes mean it’s time for everyone’s favorite prize breakdown posts!
Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the State of Mine questline, you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.
So let’s take a look at the fourth prize, the Field Trip Memorial…

What Does it Do?: Comes with a 2 part questline. You also get 3 memorials total for Springfield. Willie has a permanent 4hr task there, Add Bart’s Name to the Wall.

I like this decoration and originally thought only one was available but I’m glad there was three available (thanks Alissa and Noob_sauce37 for confirming it was 3 over a week ago), the wreath, flowers and shirt are a nice detail. I placed these in Capital City with the zipper museum and bird feeder. This would’ve made a good item to purchase multiples of with cash like some of the items from the Christmas event. 🙂 💐👕💮
I miss old school prizes that came with a small bonus percentage.
Guess it’s off to farming and hiding vans and signs for me…

I’ve got the memorial and other decorations filling out my museum mile section. The museum of zippers is so opulent i thought it needed an equally grandiloquent entrance.

Kinda of a random comment but if anyone is interested, I found that the excavation thing of the past Halloween event sometimes drops an item that has 0.2% bonus, I know that it sounds very low but I already got 60 of then just by playing the minigame kind of once a day since January, so it’s already 12% for practically no time spent and not even one donut.
Which thing?
He means the flaming torches that you get from dig site. I have a decent amount but it doesn’t seem to payout that much for me. Still, I’ll take free bonus% items wherever I can find them.
For me it doesn’t payout much, but when it does it does in clumps. I got 3 flaming torches this morning, but probably none for the past week before that.
On balance over time, the dig site has given me more bonus % than the insanity cauldron.

Well, I placed all 3 down just to finish the 2 Parter involving Groundskeeper Willie and Principal Skinner …. and then stored ’em! I may take ’em out of Storage IF I find a use for ’em that does not compromise my grand total that’s allowed in Springfield (choose wisely what you have out so you don’t get the “maximum warning” (lol)! 😀
