I’ve scattered my items throughout my current town. The zipper museum couldn’t quite fit in this frame.
Im only getting 1 free land token per day from my GGR. I’ll get the first one in the a.m. and when I go back into the game after 12hrs and check my GGR there is no land token and the timer on the building will say I have 11:59 minutes till the next one. Anyone else having this problem?
Are you using the Sky Finger Monument at the 2nd log in? I will collect land tokens.
I am using the sky finger and I though somehow that was causing the glitch. I’m gonna stop using the sky finger for a day to see if that’s the cause.
Your only to get one a day every 24 hours
You should be getting 2 a day if you collect every 12 hours.
Actually it is ever 12 hours, so 2 per day if you tap them regularly.
I got rid of skyfinger statue, then stord GGR and re-placed it, seems ok now.
Me too. My whole town has been ” collected” by a ghost. All timers reset on all buildings. Stored the sky finger, not sure it’s worked.
My GGR has also been playing up in that the counter is saying 11:59 left but I didn’t get a land token. I stored it and visited a neighbour and I’m only going to tap the GGR itself rather than use the finger or something near it. Hopefully that’ll work. I haven’t had land tokens for a couple of days.
On holidays in Cuba, wearing my Tapped Out Addicts t-shirt and making new TSTO neighbours, that’s awesome!!!
Slowly rebuilding my town after nuking it. Finally got fed up with the patchworked layout and started trying to make it more sane.
Thus far I’ve gotten a fair amount laid down and learned to loathe EA’s method of “organizing” the inventory.

Hi. Can any one help. I’m getting started with donut farming and I would like some tips for myself
There is a lot of help on the site. Search for KEM farms, donut farming, rat trap trucks. If you have lots of cash (100 million+) RTT are a quick way to donut farm. KEMs are slower but save cash. Also don’t forget to buy Mystery Boxes (6 donuts) to increase your bonus. I recommend getting an initial bonus level to 1400%. Then you should be able to add 10% a day while being able to buy what you want.
Find and read Safi’s KEM farming posts first.
While it’s very informing, I tend to need things spelled out in laymen’s terms, so some of what I did was ask ?’s here and did some experimenting on my own.
First earn a lot of cash by either running the XP collider and placing ALL $ earning items around town (yes, it gets messy and disorganized but the payoff in donuts is a-maz-ing!)
I think you have to be at level 939 to really benefit and have the XP collider and spare donuts for it to run, as much as you can afford. Trust me you’ll get it back!
1. Do it on a day you can dedicate every 4 hours to farming.
2. Get all the stars filled in your Conform-o-meter by buying the appropriate items (easy way to get Righteousness is to buy and place Training Walls)
3. Buy, place, and level up ALL Springfield Heights buildings including the beach stuff, no need to keep the accessories you earn unless you wanna ‘pretty it up’
(These have to be placed in SP to earn %, which gives donuts faster)
4. In the Conform-o-meter, look at your ‘Bonus from Conformity and Decorations’, the higher the percentage the more often you get donuts.
5. Buy as many KEM as you can easily afford.

I use about $1 Mil buying KEM’s. I have $16Mil to be able to afford to upgrade the win of donuts to 3.

I have no time to finish this mini event (been tapping less recently life is busy) I won’t finish the prizes by Wednesday but my question is will they disappear forever? Because as far as I know these mini events appear fresh for new players at random times, will it go away and come back to be and pick off in the middle of the quest line does anyone know?
You probably won’t get a second shot at it. The random events, if they happen, happen for those who never got them before. You’ll have an opportunity to earn whichever prize you’re working on when it ends, but after that your only hope will be mystery boxes.
Ever wonder when you click on the building that sends everyone to their task.. when it’s 5 8 hour task which one is EA picking the first one, the third or last one? How often does anyone manually click and send every character to a job individually?
I’ve run a few experiments and it sends them on the first task listed.
I send my characters on tasks manually most of the time. I like having that control over the tasks.
That’s what I thought. I as well like to send them individually on jobs but so many characters can make it a very long task lol. But I do like to keep them out of buildings
I send all characters manually in both my towns as I have certain people on tasks to illuminate buildings that amuse me.
Along with some on the boardwalk. Cregg Demon always summons a hell skank there; Whilst Moe’s sister gives cooking demos & such other characters whom have tasks that look good on the boardwalk do their thing.
I don’t use the IRS collector in either of my towns.
I’m a retiree; So TSTO is my main form of daily amusement on my old ipad.
Here in the UK, some people were claiming spring had started a couple of weeks ago when we got a short spell of unseasonably warm weather. Today we woke up to snow!
Technically British summer time starts on the last Sunday of March, so 31st March this year when the clocks go forward 1 hour.

Please could someone kindly advise me about the x-ing out of Daily Challenges? I’ve been playing TO for many years, and have always been able to x out the Daily Challenge only once a day. However, a while ago, I read that you can x out the challenge twice a day so I checked with Safi who agreed with this. I also checked Alissa’s blog about Daily Challenges, written when the challenges first started, and it said you could only cancel it once a day. Am I supposed to do something to trigger the twice a day option? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
If I X it out in the morning, I can X it out again before I go to bed.
Maybe you are in a different part of the world and the time zone you’re in doesn’t line up with the time that the day in the game changes to the next day? I’m in mountain time in the USA. Just a thought.
You should be able to “x out” a task every 12 hours. Sometimes it takes 5 or 6 attempts, but more often the donuts show up as a prize by the third try.😁
Thank you for trying to help, bennyqne and ebron. I’m in the UK and the x appears at midnight. Unfortunately, it only happens once a day for me, not every 12 hours. I’ve tried x-ing at various times but it doesn’t make a difference, just refreshes at midnight. A bit disappointing, and strange that not everyone’s is the same. Oh well . . .

How about putting Martin’s parents in the game?? Or have they been in and I missed them? Plus my GGR seems to be skipping paying out tiles. I’m not getting one every 12 hours anymore and I have loads of land left . Sometimes it gives it to me sometimes it doesn’t. Kind of annoying!

I don’t know if this information has been posted anywhere, but I noticed Lindsey Neagle’s one skin (the Prepper one) earns at a premium rate. Anyone else notice this?
The wizard skins have become premium, Lisa’s crush Brandon has also become premium, the stonecutters skins are premium (minus a couple tasks). That’s all I can think of that’s changed.
The Stonecutters have always been premium as long as you have the main Stonecutter’s building. I think they have 2 tasks each that are located at non-premium buildings that do not pay out at a premium rate. So it really is the main Stonecutter building that makes them premium. I did just recently notice the wizard skins are premium as well. At least Bart’s and Lisa’s. I’ve know for awhile that Marge’s wizard skin has been premium.

Sorry guys. I got a new IPod and am in the midst of transferring all of my music from the old one, which is hard since I don’t have the original computer I had my music on anymore. It’s a huge pain trying to get the 9019 tracks to transfer over. Hopefully I will be back next week with a list of songs.
In case EA reads this forum, on the Sky Finger glitch where I can go visit a friend and the building income is restored. When I click the Sky Finger, no income is collected.
Well, I got all the land this week so I’m doing some major designing. I set up a highway to one corner that I’ve made into a little Shelbyville and Capitol City area. The Outlands are finally isolated in another corner, and I have some space for an amusement park area in my downtown, though it’s still a pretty small park. I might need to move it. Anyway, it’s been fun, and the whole-town photo is very helpful.
I’ve put Shelbyville and Zenith City together in one corner for a completely different look
In addition to the glitch mentioned above, there still exists the problem of continual zoom mode that came along with the “camera” feature. Hoping they did it sooner than later as it really takes away from playing. Tech support was unable to help.
An update on GGR, I received a land tile from the Daily Challenge in a town where I already bought all the land tiles. In the New! icon I found I can exchange the Land Token for 12 donuts. So that hasn’t gone away. (reposted in GGR)
What do y’all think the next update will be about. I think it will be about either another travel themed one with Denmark and Cuba, or one about college.

With the Sky Finger glitches, I have decided to collect my land tile first, then collect characters income and play the mini-games, visit friends (I get bonus XP after finding a relic if I go “visit” and return), and then use the sky finger to collect any remaining building income. I believe this will avoid all the negative problems with the glitches.

I know I’m losing cash with Sky finger. I KEM farm but not so much that I don’t make half a million a day. Th Several of my buildings are not paying out at all and I’m not always getting my 2 tokens a day from GGR. Into storage she goes.

Can i just say I’m kinda REALLY salty about the decision to remove the Leon/Michael Jackson episode from the Simpson library. Its one of my favorites….that song, the LOVE there. It’s such an awesome brother-sister moment that I cherish. It sickens me that they want to focus on the negativity that they want that episode to now represent. It just makes me so sad.

This building collection glitch would be nice if in game cash meant anything anymore. I’ve got over $1 billion and nothing to do with it
“Salty”? Now there’s a term I haven’t heard before . . . yeh, it’s a polarising question: is it still OK to listen to someone’s music after they’ve been accused of something as heinous as pedophilia. Remember, these are accusations, and in Australia at least the presumption of innocence applies.
I’m not a Michael Jackson fan so this doesn’t affect me as far as the appreciation of his music goes (altho I really love that Simpsons episode), but if similar accusations were made against one of my musical/cinema/literary/political heroes I would immediately go into denial.
If, however, the accusations were eventually proved beyond reasonable doubt, then I do not think in all good conscience I could ever listen to that music/watch those movies/read those books/vote for that candidate again.
Extremely tired of the PC BS being forced down our throats by the “super sensitive special snowflake squad” 😡
If you’re foolish enough to place an entertainer (including sports ‘stars’) on a pedestal, don’t be so surprised when they turn out have flaws like every other human on the planet.
