Episode Reminder: Girl’s in the Band (Season 30, Episode 19)

Tidings Terrific Television Tune-in’ers!

(Today’s post is sponsored by the letter “T”)

Were you excited to see The Simpsons episode last week? Was it a good take on gender (in)equality given the current world situation? Can’t wait for another new The Simpsons episode? Well you won’t have to wait too long for the next such episode as The Simpsons is back this Sunday, with an all new episode! Woohoo!

So here’s your official TSTO Addicts reminder…all new episode, the season’s nineteenth episode, this Sunday, March 31st, on FOX (no longer half an hour earlier on Global in Canada, but at the same time on City TV)….“Girl’s in the Band”!

So what do The Simpsons have in store for us this week?

Here’s the episode information released from FOX:

“Lisa is scouted by the director of the Capitol City Philharmonic, to her band teacher’s dismay. Homer works extra shifts at the plant so Lisa can play, putting strain on the family.”

For a second week in a row, Fox Animation has not uploaded a preview video (I blame Disney). Here’s a clip from last week’s episode from FOX:

Be sure to tune in tomorrow night to see all the fun!

As always, after the episode airs we’ll have a full episode recap!

Are you excited for the new episode? Were you excited by the new The Simpsons episode last week? Looking forward to The Simpsons ninth episode of 2019? Looking forward to see a cameo from J.K Simmons and Dave Matthews? What’s been your favourite nineteenth episode of our favourite family over the past 29 seasons? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. David Kwechansky

Can anyone identify the classical piece the school band plays in episode 19 The Girl’s In the Band?

  2. Hadn’t seen the D crossed out/replaced while watching the DVR version of the full episode, had only focused on the Y added to Lad. Nonuts is pretty pejorative, but only if directed towards a male. Woke writers 🙂
