No update hits our Springfield. This is very sad. It is the first time in years that we will have two weeks of downtime. I don’t know what to think.

Has anyone noticed logging in, and all, and I mean all, building rewards were missing, and all timers reset as if I had collected all rewards at the same time. I don’t think it gave me the rewards.
I hope you are correct but the longer this downtime goes on the more concerned I am about the future for TSTO. Surely they could give us some sort of indication as to what’s coming up by now !!!

I think that EA is working on a complete new concept for the events. And to keep us busy they gave us the year book. So while we are farming donuts like crazy EA is programming like crazy. So I am looking forward to the best event ever!
Well for Disney-Fox’s first official episode on air, had a good family vibe and the kiss at the end/Marge’s response sure was a sweet one.
Capitol City, again! Anyone else noticing this?
1) Mary Bailey event/Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish trivia
2) Dancin’ Homer trivia/takes place in Capitol City
3) Last night’s’ episode “Girl’s in the Band” took place mostly in Capitol City.
I feel like there are more references especially now with the Yearbook MB.
I hadn’t thought of building a full-Capitol City build in my town but may have to, is there a list of items that “belong” or come from Capitol City?
There are some capitol city (CC) items already available which are the CC Convention Center, CC Capitol Building and CC Plaza Hotel are from the buck stops here event last year (you can still get the capitol building in the yearbook mystery box). The state of despair/Mary Bailey event last month added some items like the Pot Belly Pigeon Feeder and Field Trip Memorials (this isn’t a CC item but I added it in mine) which you can add to a CC area.

For the first time in the four years I’ve been playing, I now have a profile pic. Everyone now gets to see Mr. McGreg when they visit my town 😉
I wasn’t sure if the yearbook would stick around after the event, but it did, and I’ve had the best luck! The last three out of the four times I’ve opened it, I’ve gotten exactly what I wanted: Lucille, Mr. Sparkle, and Frank Grimes! I love the yearbook, and 30 donuts per item is great value for me. Going to try my luck for Sarah Wiggum, Kamp Krusty, Film Set, and Malibu Stacy HQ.
Btw, I really liked last night’s episode written by Nancy Cartwright.

While updating the database I noticed some items now have bonus % or earn cash that they didn’t before.
Care to elaborate which items?
For example the Festive Light Plunger now has 2.25% bonus.
I’ve had the Festive Light Plunger out in my Springfield for over a year due to the bonus percentage. I’m pretty sure that is not new.
Mine’s out in Springfield just because I like it 😂😂😂😂

No, I genuinely thought you didn’t know it had a bonus until today.
Actually I didn’t. But I also didn’t think it was recently added. Like A. I just like the usefulness of it so I never checked before filling in the database. Which, btw, I had only one person volunteer. I guess most people who come to this site just don’t care.
Alissa mentioned that nothing was sent by EA so far. I think this means that very likely no major event will hit our Springfield this week. So disappointing.
PS: So I hope a teaser will hit our pocket-size towns, meaning a major is coming.
PPS: If a new minor event appear, I will start agreeing with a guy that at the beginning of the year said that there were rumors about a 2019 with only minor events. (I was not able in finding the comment about it, but it exists 😝)
Rumour has it the next event is coming tomorrow…some very interesting developments, very interesting…

Is it just me or… i have a strange feeling that this game is neering the end… Not that im hoping EA to end this of course… But since we havnt got any main big events and they offered us to purchase all missed premium contents for a cheap 30 credits, it makes me believe that something’s cooking… smells not good.

I read something about EA firing 350 employees recently. They are having some kind of restucturing, cleaning house I guess. Maybe that’s why the game has been so blah lately.

If you read the article you’ll see they fired marketing folks not programmers and designers. Also a significant number of those layoffs came from winding down presence in Japan and Russia

New friends are arriving to my game. It’s unexpected, but welcome. I haven’t done a friend me post in months.
Hit $1B in game cash, it’s time for the Lard Lads and other cash machines to go into storage. With the cash machines stored and a steady stream of land tokens, I’m working on the latest mystery box and seeing what fits in my revitalized town.

After Watching the episode daddicus finch for the first time the other day as it was premiered in the UK I learnt via the bah mitzvah scene that shauna is the daughter of principal chalmers. But is this a new revelation for the show or has it been revealed in the past and I’ve just forgotten as I’m pretty sure I’ve only ever known her as Shauna with no given surname.

Happy Sunday everyone 🙂 I’m just poking at the game right now messing with percentages etc while knowing that there are a lot of design opportunities in my inventory. I have no good reason to do things like try to boost my % other than I have always taken great pleasure in messing with game mechanics and trying to max out whatever. I realize that is a pretty consistent thread from all the video games I’ve really gotten into and it’s funny that this game has climbed into that category!!
Anyway, glad to see what is on the horizon for the game and hoping that recent interpretations of the impending doom of the game are premature.

Fascinating too see where EA go from here. Think most of us will be disappointed with another mini event but at least that will be better than nowt.

I wish I could design but I am completely landlocked actually almost everything I bought in the last event is still in my inventory because I have nowhere to put it. I really wish they would let us buy some of the available land or give some consistent way to earn them!
There are tons of land available right now. How can you run out of land?
There should be enough land now, but I will take a stab it.
(1) Farming – houses and KEM. Can take up a lot of space.
(2). Crafting. People but a lot of work of getting items and want to display it.
(3). Designing. Large Parks and forests. Multiple “cities”.
(4). Designing 2. Using the Simpson house as the basis for land. You need room for pool, tree house, trees with hammock. Then the game added a “workbench” and bathtub brewery.
(5) Designing 3. You might appreciate all the work done in designing the buildings, etc and you don’t want to cover up any part of them. That requires a lot of “empty” space.
