It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

May I suggest a “Must Buy” Or if you see section. How I missed Golden Goose I will never know. But the. I get Yellow Submersible in yearbook. I’ve been wanting more boardwalk pieces for years. I know neither are normally available but a section that lists “If you see BUY” would be extremely helpful.
Anyone else still visiting friends? I still get anywhere from 1-5 donuts each day. In the past two days I’ve been kicked off the server when I try to visit friends. I clear 5-6 friends, get kicked out, renter the game clear maybe one friend and get kicked out again. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I really don’t nEAd to visit my friends to get donuts or augment my in-game cash but visiting friends is one of the more interesting parts of the game. Too bad there’s no real friend interaction anymore.

How is everyone? My name is Kay. I’m new to commenting here, aside from leaving my username (pixldust) in the “add me section” a couple times. I’ve read this blog for years now while I played but I thought I’d finally join in on the conversation since my Simpsons obsession is bigger than ever since coming back to the game (I got a little too addicted and was spending too much RL money on donuts so I took a break for a few months to calm myself 😅) and I’d love to talk about it w people who are equally as addicted!
I just started KEM farming and… holy crap I’m in love and I wish I read about how to properly farm things sooner because I wasted a lot of money on donuts/premium items when I could’ve been doing this all along! I decided to put on the XP collider for 3 days so as not to spend all the donuts I had left (in case it didn’t work, honestly wasn’t sure if I was doing it right) and then tried to keep up with finishing building/selling them as often as I could with those three days. So far I have increased 43 levels, earning 1 donut per level so I got 43 donuts these past 2 days!! Instead of only going for premium items I would die to have, I was actually able to spend some of what I already had in the yearbook on items I missed and not feel guilty seeing my previously bought donuts drop below 100 because I now know I can earn them back! Currently trying to get my bonus XP higher so I can earn more donuts even easier since I’m only at 56% (if I found the correct thing, I never even paid attention to that before or what it did for your gameplay). If your XP bonus is higher do you earn more than one donut during level ups?
Also since I’ve been back to playing I’ve been really trying to work on my underdeveloped Springfield Heights and I’m FINALLY getting somewhere with it. It was so tedious to me when it first came out, since acquiring certain resources depleted others so much, but now I find the constant tapping for resources therapeutic and am able to distract myself from my chronic pain for hours at a time. Hoping to rebuild my Krustyland once I’m satisfied with this (I can’t believe I cam back to it being blown up?!)
