Weird little update in Springfield. No new content, but a bunch of returning stuff. Any excuse for EA to stock our stores with returning premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the returning Character Combos or Character Costumes to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

Item: Jacques and Fiesta Terrace
Cost: 150 Donuts
Earns: $175, 15xp/8hrs AND 4% Bonus on all cash/xp.

What Does It Do: Standard full character/building combo
My Opinion On It Now: This is a good buy because you get the bonus % PLUS a cash earning building. Anytime you see both of those in 1 building, it’s a good buy. HOWEVER, Jacques is in the Yearbook Mystery box. So if you want him you’re likely better off trying to find him in the box than spend 150 donuts on him now. But if you just want Jacques and don’t want to chance getting other items you don’t want from the Box, then it’s not a bad deal.
Item: Wendell and Zip, Zap and Za
Cost: 150 Donuts
Earns: $135, 15xp/4hrs

What Does It Do: Standard full character/building combo
My Opinion On It Now: It’s Wendell, so that alone is why I said to buy him originally. However, like Jacques, Wendell is available via the Yearbook Mystery Box. So you’re likely better off trying to find him in the box.
Item: Poochie and Ramp
Cost: 150 Donuts
Earns: I believe the ramp now earns an xp bonus…

What Does It Do: Full character and decoration. Poochie will use the ramp for an animated visual task.
My Opinion On It Now: Poochie is not available via the Yearbook Mystery Box. So if you want him this is your only (current) shot at getting him. Originally free, not a bad pickup now.
Item: Lewis and the Mighty Pigs Practice Rink
Cost:150 Donuts
Earns: 4.5% Bonus on all cash and XP

What Does It Do: Standard full character/decoration combo
My Opinion On It Now: Lewis is also not available via the Yearbook Mystery Box. So if you want him this is your only (current) shot at getting him. I still think this is a good, and fun, buy.
Item: Duff Brewery, Duffman, and Lady Duff Costume.
Cost:190 Donuts
Earns: $200 & 20XP every 6hours

What Does It Do: Standard full character/building Combo PLUS a Costume for Duffman
My Opinion On It Now: The combo like this is not available in the Yearbook Mystery Box. (yes you can get Duffman and the Brewery and yes you can get Lady Duff, but not as this package) Not a bad buy. Duffman remains one of the, if not the, most favorite character in the game. Anytime you can get him it’s a good buy…Oh Yeah!

Why have all my friends disappeared. .?
Don’t buy Duff Brewery. I got it in the yearbook on my first attempt (yay) under Mexican Duffman bundle. It came with everything stated here as well as a separate character Mexican Duffman. For 150 doughnuts you can guarantee you will get it plus 4 other items. I kept refreshing until it was in the same group as at least two other character sets.
I think Lewis and the Mighty Pigs Practice Rink costs 165 Donuts not 150.

Sure. Most bridges. And you can create a bridge by placing water first, then road over the top of it.
My yearbook has Mexican Duffman bundle which appears to be Duffman, brewery, Lady Duff and Mexican Duffman. Just waiting to hit 150 doughnuts before I try for it. This is way better option.
I’d love to get Millhouse’s nana. I can’t figure out why I didn’t get her before…
Bought them all in my A game, had most already anyways.
B game, just buying MB, and upping my %. When i get 30 donuts, i buy a yearbook mb. Best of everything that way, imo.
Bit late to the tennis court building. 😐 Finally caught on, and thats helped tremendously. Didn’t need it for my a game, and didn’t clue in for the b, until recently. D’oh! 😂
I wouldn’t mind picking up Wendell and Lewis, but I’m using all my donuts on the yearbook. Since there is no discount on Wendell and Lewis, I’ll take my chances that they will return.
Like many others I have run out of land – so with no way of gaining any land tokens it seems pointless to spend donuts on any more buildings / decorations!
Really think EA are missing a trick here….
That’s why I bought the Golden Goose Reality. This gives land tokens as. Spend a lot of donuts on it.

I’d really like to get Duffman and the brewery for my main world. I was very lucky to win these from a mystery box in my other world and really like this character. For me 190 donuts is a bit steep, so will probably try my luck with the yearbook mystery box.
I own all these + so this is definitely a boring event. Do we have to wait until the Fourth for anything good? What happened to Easter? I say BOOOOOOO!
Well, keep in mind that Easter isn’t really a TSTO “thing”. We had 1 Easter event 5 years ago, and since then it’s just been returning content in the store available to purchase. No real Easter event/gameplay. So…
That Easter event almost made a basket case out of me😁
Returning Premiums
Well if you can get it from the Mystery Box? (aka if you want to press Your luck?) there’s no reason to spend extra sprinkles …. not surprised by what isn’t in the Mystery Box (or, what was probably taken out, so that you have no choice but to pay full price in sprinkles). 🤷🏼♂️
I probably passed up on a lot of sports-related Premiums due to lack of space in my Springfield. Now that I have the free space? I’m still not interested! I can only hope the Vault has better options tomorrow, because two weeks in a row it’s been 💩!
One exception would be Duff Man with Lady Duff Man Skin and Duff Brewery Building (spent the sprinkles without questioning! totally worth it!).
And now back to Farming for 🍩’s and redoing my Springfield (I would actually be surprised if a new worthwhile Event showed up in TSTO!) 🤔
Thanks a lot Alissa. I was given the opportunity to buy Lewis and Toreador Grampa. I picked Lewis, but the Grampa skin is too expensive i.m.h.o. 🙂
I grabbed Lewis right away. I had passed on him at Christmas and regretted it. So he was an easy pick up for me. I put the rink with the dodgeball and I few tennis courts, looks great! I managed to get Jacques out of the yearbook. Lewis’ hour task is great, I’m very happy I grabbed him!
