Showoff Announcement: Stadium Freeplay

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers!  We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and I thought with all this talk about sports we should have a little stadium freeplay fun!  So this time around I want to see those Springfield Stadiums!  So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!

The next showoff will feature whichever sports themed areas of your town you want to show us.  This can be tour Tapball Stadium, Football Stadium, Baseball Fields, Sports complex, anything really!  Just has to be sports themed.

As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town, unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.

So use this downtime to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be!  Send in your Springfield Stadium Freeplay designs from your town and we’ll be putting up the Showoff Post featuring your designs on Wednesday, April 24th. 

So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Tuesday, April 23rd, can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.

You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com.  We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.

Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots.  We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images.  Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too).  We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two.  If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week.  You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page.  We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme.  Remember, this isn’t a contest.  There’s nothing to win.  It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts.  🙂

    I am sure my bleachers could be changed to be gold or green but it can only be change to gold?, links another skin, Looked through older posts but can’t see anything on it, need some help with this 🙂

      Yeah, in the next comment, this is from Stadium Sets, which were available sometime, and I didn’t get ‘em.:
      Yeah!?!? That puzzled me, so I Googled TSTO Stadium Seating, and found out about “Stadium Sets”: “The Stadium Sets added Clay and Gold façades for Stadium Entrance, Grass Field, Single Bleachers, Double Bleachers, Triple Bleachers, Stadium Fence, Stadium Lights and the Homertron. Buying a set affected all eight decorations.”
      I never noticed that, and didn’t buy the sets. I guess the different colors (when you have the sets) just toggle?

    Here’s my all-purpose stadium, in the sports district (Collosseum, Duff Arena, and the stadium, across from Lugash’ Gym), and my TSTO (The Springfield Tennis Open) Center Court Arena.

        Thanks… I have no idea why they came out so huge (near-full size!), but then again, this is the first time I think I’ve tried this method of posting images in comments. That I remember, at least. Which doesn’t mean much these days… what was I talking about? Hey, you kids, get off my lawn!

    Here is my contribution a Duff Tennis Court with the Duff Beer Gardens. Stitching them together on an Apple IPad is very frustrating so two separate pictures.
