(Today’s post is sponsored by the letter “T”)

Were you disappointed to see no new episodes of The Simpsons the last three week? Can’t wait for another new The Simpsons episode? Well you won’t have to wait too long for the next such episode as The Simpsons is back this Sunday, with an all new episode! Woohoo!

So here’s your official TSTO Addicts reminder…all new episode, the season’s twenty first episode, this Sunday, April 28th, on FOX (no longer half an hour earlier on Global in Canada, but at the same time on City TV)….“D’oh Canada”!

Coincidence that The Simpsons return with an episode around Canada just days after my birthday?

So what do The Simpsons have in store for us this week?

It’s been a busy couple days for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Just yesterday he was tweeting about the debut of Blue Jays and MLB #1 prospect Vladamir Guerrero Jr. And tomorrow he makes an appearance on The Simpsons, voiced by Canadian journalist Lucas Meyer.

Here’s the episode information released from FOX:

“On a family vacation to Niagara Falls, Lisa is mistakenly granted political asylum in Canada. When Marge goes to rescue Lisa, they are forced to re-evaluate their love for America as they navigate the polite Canadian landscape.”

Here’s a preview clip from FOX:

Be sure to tune in tomorrow night to see all the fun!

As always, after the episode airs we’ll have a full episode recap!

  1. Simpsons went to my city, Utica NY =^-^= it’s on our news and everything Lolz.

  2. I have not yet been able to see the episode, but my city is a BUZZ about it! Apparently they cross the border in Detroit to Canada (Windsor, Ontario) before heading to Niagara Falls, showing several Windsor “views”. I live in the surrounding county of Windsor (city). What an exciting moment for the little city across from big Detroit.

    • Suffice it to say…there is a reason that Lisa doesn’t want to go back home.

    • I saw the episode, and it was pretty cool to see the sites of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls border area and likewise the Detroit-Windsor border area. Having lived in Windsor for a few years, I definitely recognized quite a few views. And then being born and raised in Toronto, been to the Buffalo-Niagara Falls border area over a couple hundred times.

  3. Wow! Lisa Simpson and Marge Simpson obtain what many American citizens would love? (a free pass into Canada!) I think my dual British-American citizenship would definitely complicate things ! 😂🇬🇧🇺🇲

So glad we get a new Episode on Sunday 👍

  4. I’m Canadian so I’m super excited about this episode eh!!! 😂 🇨🇦

  5. I’ve gone back and rewatched a few of the newer episodes on DVR. Always excited for more!
