So true, I look forward to the update, not the negitivity and complainers, make me cringe
Just wondering if we’re going to see a new class of premium product that can’t be bought with bonuts. The whole farming thing has gotten way out of hand, meaning that EA can’t extract cash for premium content from long-standing players, but have priced said content way too high (in bonuts) for newbies. But farmers will be up in arms if farming is stopped.
So that’s my minor conspiracy theory on the downtime, a major pause to get the business model working.

Yes…that might be a double negative. You figure it out.
I think people have a right to be negative. It’s ridiculous how long it’s been since a real update. I know some people are constantly negative but it’s hard to understand why they went radio silent for so long.
Literally there’s no need to EVER stay negative about anything you cannot change. You think it makes you interesting but believe me, it only drives people away.
Because…that’s what they do in ALL of their games. They earn their “worst customer support” medal honestly. Expecting something to change, when the source clearly has no intention of changing, is a waste of time and energy. It’s not an excuse for bad behavior…but we live in an age when bad behavior is ignored on a daily basis.
Although I am disappointed that there isn’t more information, yet, about the upcoming update, I wasn’t trying to be negative with my sarcasm, and I didn’t mean to sound negative with my comment. I meant for my comment to be a joke (and a positive sounding joke, too), but I wanted to make it clear that I was being sarcastic so as to try to avoid any misunderstandings.
I don’t understand why (in general) many people mistake any sarcastic comments that I make (especially if I have written down those comments as text) for negativity on my part. That is usually not the case because I usually try to use sarcasm and exaggeration to lighten the mood and/or make things more positive sounding.
And my reply…was a double negative..which always makes me laugh.
Unfortunately for me, I could not tell that there was any humor in your reply. I’m also not good at spotting double negatives in grammar.

I have no idea of you are referring to, so I cannot say whether or not I would even be offended by your comment.
Other than the date, the tweet laughably lacked detail, especially because of all the frustration and lack of information we’ve been experiencing as players. Because of that I thought you wrote a funny, apt comment and it made me smile wryly.

Me -_- had to take a break from the game so this hiatus has been very appreciated. Plus just before the last event was over I had finally completed my monorail track and gotten my bonus up to 600%. Mostly thanks to the tennis courts. Than started farming and hit a wall that required a nice break.
Since the tweet said Update and not Event.. I will just sit back and wait to see what comes down the pipeline.. I won’t get my hopes up.
That is prudent.
I’m calling it the Easter update because it feels like the game had departed and is rising again.

Anything new is better than nothing, and nothing isn’t all that bad. Of course people have the right to be negative…I just try and use my energy towards positivity. Have a great day everyone!! And a very happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!!
Could it be the server issues the last few weeks mean they have been upgrading them? Wishful thinking I know. And what if all. This downtime is a retooling of some kind?

Hurray! I wonder if the mystery box is going to end. I’ve done a bit of farming today to try and get as much junk as I can. Farming has been slow going, but I found a way around getting kicked out constantly (now only once or twice).
What’s the secret?
I only clear two KEMs at a time and let all the little numbers float off the screen before touching anything else. It takes forever which makes me wonder if it isn’t quicker to just let it kick me out.

I think this is an issue for those outside the us. Every report has been outside the us that I’ve seen
If you are outside the US with issues, try using a VPN. When I am outside the country, use a VPN for connection and never have connectivity issues.

I’m still getting logout/login issues. I’m going with the theory that the lull and issues are due to software changes as they move the game in a new direction. Expect bugs going forward.
Me too, it never los on on the firet try, and i ussually get atleast 2 more disconnects while playing, and that every 4 hours
Finally! I hope it’s an actual event and not a quest line that was rejected from a previous event (i.e., Marge at the bat).
Just a short while ago we would all have been happy to get any news even if it were to say nothing is happening for a while!
I would like a proper event as well, but I am happy with whatever it is as something is better than nothing.
Any type of new event news is certainly better than the not knowing anything that we have all been complaining about for weeks!

A Tuesday drop doesn’t necessarily mean a Tuesday start. Sometimes they give you the update a day before the event starts.
All the updates for the longest time have been a Tuesday drop with a Wednesday trigger. Nothing new.
