Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Tapped Out is a game we’ve all been playing for years, but how well do you really know the game? Can you guess buildings/characters/items based on sound? Or are you like me, and play without your sound turned on so you don’t have a clue which sound goes with what? Well, we’re about to find out!
Each week we’ll be bringing you a Name that TSTO Tune game, based on an era of TSTO of our choosing. Each sound effect for the week will all be from a certain time period in the game/event, which we will disclose to you, so base your guess off of that knowledge.
Now without further ado, let’s get to this week’s Name that TSTO Tune game!
All questions from this week’s game are based on the very first THOH update in TSTO, dating way back to 2012. Try not to cheat by tapping the buildings/characters in your town and see if you can guess the sound purely on your listening/memory skills alone.
Ok, guys, I’m going to try something different this week. Trying out a few things to see what works best, and is easiest for me (since we have a TON of sound files to choose from).
So this week I’m going to give you a list of 5 buildings/characters that the sound files go to and you have to tell me which sound file matches which item.
For example: if I say “these files are either Flanders, Homer, Lisa, or The Kwik E Mart” and then you see…
You would tell me that 1 is the KEM, 2 is Flanders, 3 is Lisa, and 4 is Homer.
Make sense?

Darn, I hope my post doesn’t come through twice. I’ve been having a bit of a hiccup w/Wordpress; for some reason it won’t keep me signed in even though I check the little box. 😬 RachelS
I think I can name these. I play w/my sound on very low (like 1-2 bars on an iPad) as the sound effects are great fun! I started playing very early in 2014.

I may have a couple mixed up though; the only time I ever have Heck House showing is during Halloween. This kind of highlights what I think of as the only downside to using the new Skyfinger tool – when it clears all the buildings you don’t get to hear the sounds. But I do love the tool nonetheless! I did 4/5 for Last Week (Lemon Tree was my only snafu – and I have one but I haven’t tapped it since 2015? (lol) 😜
I didn’t start playing TSTO until February 2013, so here goes kinda guessing on Halloween 2012 content (some of which I still haven’t obtained, some of which I remember certain Neighoreenos having) 🦇

Have always played with the sound off ever since Homer screamed “better put on pants” in church. At a funeral. 😶 it sounds so funny now.
I play with the sound off. Maybe once a year I turn it on and then when Arnie Pye screams I shut it back off
I always play with the sound off. Either it’s very early in the morning at home or I’m sneaking a few taps at work.
Hey guys anyone know what time the event is dropping?
The only thing that’s known is that Matt Selman said 5/14. But that could mean a variety of things. We’ll keep you posted if/when we find anything out.

I just went into my game…nothing new yet. Usually things happen Tuesday…mostly Wednesday at 10:00 am eastern. I checked the games details and it still states last developer update was March 14….guess we’ll have to wait and see. I’m sure the wonderful people here will let us know as soon as they know anything…have a great day everyone!!!

You play the game with the sound off! To me, missing most of the fun.
Sometimes, when I’m unable to watch FXX for a while, I’ll turn up the sounds and by the end of a round of tapping it *almost* feels like I’ve just watched an episode.
Then again, I am considered the weird one, according to my friends…
