It’s time to celebrate all things MOM in our pocket-sized towns, as The Real Moms of Springfield mini-event has made its way to Springfield! What will happen in the new update? Will Ruth be sent back to prison? Will Quimby find any long lost children? Will any of this make sense? You’ll have to read the dialogue to find out. Of course, a new event means new prizes to earn and new prizes mean it’s time for everyone’s favorite prize breakdown posts!
Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the The Real Moms of Springfield questline, you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.
So let’s take a look at the first and second prize, the Kitchen Carnival and Jittery Joe’s Coffee Shop…

What Does it Do?: No real animation when tapped, but it does play music when tapped.

What Does it Do?: Women of Springfield, excluding kids, have a 4hr task there “Attend Coffee Meetup”. Also animated when in use (similar to GIF below) and plays a sound when tapped.

First event I can’t play due to the Android 9 issue with S10 phone. Waited ages for a new event as well. EA don’t seem to care and this may be the end of my tapping.

I think the kitchen carnival machine would have been a better prize if it came bundled with the candy monster that homer creates as an NPC. referring to marge: “maybe we should get rid of her”
I got the Kitchen Carnival in an open space for now but I plan on adding it to my Itchy & Scratchy Land which I’m currently redesigning. I’ll put it in front of the Fireworks, Candy and Puppy store. The cone kind of looks like a unicorn horn to me, anyone else think that or is it just me? 😂🦄
It has been a while since there was a build time on a new building since the last one must’ve been from valentine’s. Jittery Joe’s is a decent looking building and an even size with a good animation plus its from a classic episode. I’m glad that it gets used during the questline and after it. I’ll probably put some little items with it in a design. ☕
Anything is better than nothing, and nothing isn’t really that bad. I’m happy the game continues….I’m getting close to finishing the yearbook…so I’m content.
Put Jittery Joes outside Springfield University…those kids drink a lot of coffee!

Kitchen Carnival = reminds me of the BBQ Pit with Meat (makes a noise when you tap it, 2 x 2 in size) 😉
Jittery Joe’s Coffee Shop = so the Springfield Mothers have a place to hang out (ladies only), but they need a Hair and Nail Salon (lol, c’mon EA!) 😊
I’m hoping we could a Father’s Day Mini-Event next 😀
I’m going to put mine in Shelbyville (aka Plopville until I officially decide where to place it permanently) as a complement to the Java Server and add my newly acquired Turn Your Head and Coif as Shelbyville’s version of Harry Shearer’s. This way the ladies get a full day trip.
Kitchen Carnival will go in Krustyland between the cotton candy and the fried dough stand, obviously.
The kitchen carnival makes cotton candy when you tap it.
Funny I tapped it like 6 times and nothing happened lol
It is random. Sometimes it makes cotton candy, and sometimes the deep fryer bubbles. I think the caramel also moves around a bit, but it is hard to tell.
So it feels like…it does nothing lol
I have to tap mine about 10 times to get it to work. Still think it’s a pretty lame prize, the next one looks more promising, I’ve almost got it now!
Mine also stirs the cotton candy .😎
This update is a total disappointment. It is just a mother day mini quest that must have been delayed for t cynical reasons and released after mother’s day. Sheesh, we waited 2 months for this?!
