Hey, we finally got an update in TSTO! Yes, the Real Moms of Springfield hit our games this past week. What are your thoughts on the mini-event? Prizes? Premium offering?

I seem to have hit a glitch! I couldn’t find anyone else having this problem. I sent most of my characters to the Kwik E Mart (I think for the daily bonus) and now they all seemed to be trapped there. I click on the huge row of thumbs – i get the cash – and the characters go right back in! If I close down and go back in, I can do it all over again! Any advice??
Have you tried going to a neighbor and then back…or storing the KEM (which will kill all actions) and then returning it?
Hello! Question: someone else mentioned this, but has anyone noticed their neighbors are all listed as “origin friends not in game?”. I visit about once a week lately, and i just saw this new glitch this morning. I can only visit Other Springfield
I finished Saturday, but I already had Manjula and Sarah Wiggum plus I picked up Sherri and Terri’s mom the second the event went live. I play every 4 hours so that’s why I was done Saturday morning. On a side note I got the zombie Sandwich from the mystery box this morning. It’s freakin awesome!! There is zombies all over my Springfield! 🧟♀️ 🧟♂️

I tried to friend you in the game, but you are showing up under “origin friends not in game” for some reason. Does you’re avatar for the game have a picture of Maggie or did I friend the wrong SnugsP?
I am curious about all the people who managed to finish the mini event by the weekend, was it due to having premium characters or using donuts to speed things up?
Just played every four hours…and also had the new premium characters.
I’ve cut back to playing about 3 times in 24 hours and would prefer to keep it that way. I’ll be finished tomorrow anyhow with still a week before the end of the event.
I’m currently finishing up the mini event now but I would’ve been done by Sunday/Monday if I got on 4-5 times every day. I had Manjula and Sarah Wiggum as the premium helpers, even without them its still possible to finish on time because the prize totals are low at 150 to 200 per prize compared to previous mini events.
I’m running on two devices: a galaxy note 9, and a 5 year old kindle fire 7, 3rd gen running OS 4.5.5.3.
I do not see any change in zoom on the kindle, but on the note 9 it has such a wide screen, not only can I zoom out, the tap radius is smaller than the screen width. This is a bonus as with two clicks I can clear a lot of jobs and money.
Hoping they fix the zoom for us modernise folks
I’m not going to be the “4 mini event’s aren’t a real event” guy, but lets be honest, I’m a musician. I miss the events that they deemed big enough to give new music for.
Think am tapped out with tapped it, completed last mini event on Saturday, nothing I want left in the mystery box, got 160 million in game cash, 76 land tile, 3006 donuts to spend, collider ran out and not going to recharge, still going to design areas and will do a 12 hour cycle of my 330+ characters, hope to see a bigger event with more to do soon 😐

Try out “Roller Coaster Tycoon” in the down time…play is a lot like TSTO, but you’re designing an amusement park. Doesn’t have the heart and humor of The Simpsons (since there are no characters), but it’s fun and the buildings are all four sided… and you can view and swoop in to buildings from any direction. Also, you can play without buying something every day…I spent $5 when I first started (to pile up some game cash) and haven’t been pressured to buy anything else since.
I finished the event Sunday. Now just doing the quest line for the last character.
Easy event. I hope the next one is at least 3 weeks long.
I have been KEM farming and the flying money os driving me nuts. Before I can collect all the money the KEM’s have reset and its time to collect again. It’s really slowing things down. Is there a way to disable the flying money or are we just stuck with this useless animation?

I’m not asking about KEM farming. I’m asking if there is any way to turn off the animation that creates flying money. It takes so long it annoying.
I have answered my own question. After a little experimentation that is. Once you have tapped on the buildings and the money starts flying (collecting and adding up) force close the game. When you come back in all the money is collected without having to wait.
I have around 1300 KEM’s so the whole collecting process was a pain.

Do you build 1300 KEM’s at a time, or are they simply taking up space in your Springfield?
All of my neighbors are missing in my one Springfield. I remember reading about that happening to other people. Can someone remind me of reasons why it would happen and if there is any way to get them back? Thank you in advance.

Happy May 24 weekend to the fellow Canadians out there!! I enjoyed the event. Got Mrs Prince this morning. I had been asking if we would get Martin’s parents so I was super happy when she showed up! To the tagging or I guess it’s vandalism post I saw Friday, people getting mad cause someone tagged them, well maybe it’s time to go outside for a walk or something! I am personally very addicted to this game and enjoy playing but I know there is a real world out there! I was planting flowers in it with my husband today! Don’t take yourself to damn seriously!! It’s just a game. A good one but still just a game! Happy Tappin fellow tappers!
I took a break from the game due to the zoom problem and lack of excitement. But I just logged back in and saw the zoom problem was fixed.. very good Thank-you E.A.. saved a player.
I just finished the event.took my time with it…I was pleased. Now continuing to work on the yearbook…maybe 15 or so things left…And in response to the last ditch effort regarding the yearbook, I think Patric is right on…when I was spending money on the game, I would’ve been going a little nuts with the book….especially for the playable characters….have a great day/evening everyone.

This may have been covered before but I have just noticed a large XP bonus addition when I visit friends’ towns. It can be in the hundreds of 000’s and I can ‘earn’ it by visiting just one friend and tapping on three buildings and then returning to my little town. I have a decent bonus % and use the XP multiplier but have never noticed the amount of XP added for very little tapping. Happy Sunday from sunny Devon.
So I’m one of the poor saps who plays on an Amazon Fire Tablet (Fire HD 8 – 6th Generation), and I have been in exile since February when EA decided they no longer wanted us playing.
I’ve checked back in from time to time to see if they would in fact fix the dreaded zoom issue, only to check in this week and find out there was a new mini event and *most* Amazon users have been welcomed back to a game that is actually playable again, so I have reinstalled the game and am back in my beloved waste of time tiny Springfield!
Although the interface and text still seem a bit smaller than I remember them being, everything seems fine in my town once again, and although the new mini event is very lackluster (and late for Moms), I’ve really been enjoying the Yearbook loot box, which I’ve spent about 200 donuts on, but received around 700 donuts worth of items for!
That all being said, doesn’t the Yearbook thing seem like a last, desperate addition to the game? I’ve never been to a store suddenly offering goods for a fraction of the original price and said to myself “This place must be doing great, I’m sure they’ll be around for years to come!”
Anyway, glad to be back in digital Springfield for however much longer it lasts!
Well…it isn’t quite that bad. Using your analogy, it would be more like if a store said, “hey, here’s this thing you want, at an 80% discount…MAYBE. But you need to perhaps also buy a bunch of stuff you don’t want, to get the thing you do want. So…did that thing you really wanted cost you $30, or did it cost you 60/90/120/150 donuts? It’s like “winning” the slots in Vegas. How many quarters did it cost you to “Win” the $100 jackpot?
EA knows players like deals…and a ton of them like gambling. I am guessing it has been a cash cow for them.
I’m excited for a possible Fathers Day Mini-Event and hopefully we should get back on track by summer
I have just started playing this new event, due to personal stuff coming first but it’s great in a way there is no rush to complete it.
No point in anyone moaning about the lack of a major event, let’s just celebrate that the game is not ending anytime soon !!!
