The Real Moms of Springfield Prize Breakdown: Jake Boyman

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s time to celebrate all things MOM in our pocket-sized towns, as The Real Moms of Springfield mini-event has made its way to Springfield! What will happen in the new update?  Will Ruth be sent back to prison?  Will Quimby find any long lost children? Will any of this make sense? You’ll have to read the dialogue to find out. Of course, a new event means new prizes to earn and new prizes mean it’s time for everyone’s favorite prize breakdown posts!

Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the parts of the The Real Moms of Springfield questline, you’ll have to earn  via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

  1. Anyone else have Jake replace Lisa at the Springfield Dump and Metal Recycling?

  2. I remember Jake Boyman from the show and there is plenty of content from the episode that could be added including Melanie Upfoot, a skin for the school for the boys and girl’s side and a task for Skinner to wear a skirt.
Its nice to get a character/costume which has a bench task since I believe that Samantha Stankey was the last one to get a bench task.

  3. While Jake boyman doesn’t have a questline the character is used during Mrs prince’s questline though which was a different way of doing things but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

  4. Jake Bowman’s visual tasks are locked in my game. They are greyed out and I cannot assign them. Do I miss something? Is there anything I can do to unlock them? Normally you unlock tasks by the associated questline but Jake has none,…

    • You need to unlock Martha Prince (Mrs. Prince) who is the final prize of the event and go through her questline (Martin Needs a Tutor) to unlock both hers and Jake’s visual tasks. Don’t forget to do the tasks for Men and Bart and Lisa on part 5 of the main questline along with getting the currency.

      • Thx for the reply!

Confusing that 2 characters / skins have a combined questlime to unlock there tasks. EA is getting lazy these days. 🙂

Currently working on their combined questline “Martin needs a Tutor” and have unlocked the first visual tasks already. *g*

  5. I didnt get a free land token on my questline like the image shows? Not a massive issue but i still have a few $sea squares and loads of token squares so what gives? Anyone else had this?

  6. Jake Boyman
One of the better Skins for Lisa Simpson (my favourite is still Ravencrow Neversmiles – her dialogue never fails to crack me up) 😂

Thank you EA for a good Character Skin 👍

  7. If no one has started the chant in this thread yet…
    “Toilet! Toilet! Toilet!” 🤟

It was a fun quest. The writers do a great job with the dialog in this game! This is why it has been great getting characters from the yearbook.

  9. Is this from the episode where the boys and girls are taught seperately at the school?
