Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Tagging has been a hot button issue around here for the last couple of weeks. Really it’s been a point of contention for players for a long time. Most folks are generally passionate about it on either side of the debate. You either really love it…or you really hate it. (of course, there are those, like me, who just don’t care one way or the other. But, unfortunately, we’re a rare breed)
Anyway, TSTO is slow right now so what better way to bring a little excitement into the game than with some good old fashion vandalism?! And what better way to have fun with a topic that’s been driving a chunk of us crazy for over half a decade than have a contest involving tagging?! Where we can find out which Sky Finger is the master of TSTO Addicts tagging!
What do I mean? What’s the prize? Let’s find out…
So here’s the deal….
We’re going to have a good old fashioned tagging scavenger hunt! Where throughout the day tomorrow, Saturday, June 8th, there will be a series of posts with a clue on which building to tag and where it must be located in a neighbor’s town. There will be one post for each taggable building in Springfield…so Moe’s will have a post, Springfield Elementary, etc. (Also, this means there will be no Saturday trivia tomorrow…sorry guys. But I need a trivia break anyway.)
So an example might be…
“Tag Neighbors who Have their Moe’s Next to Luigi’s”
So then you would search your neighbors, find those who have Moe’s next to Luigi’s. Tag their Moe’s, then (and this is the important part) Take a Screenshot of your work, and post the screenshot in the comments section of the post for that clue. Your Screenshot MUST include the neighbor’s name. If it doesn’t include the name it won’t count as an official tag.
The goal is to tag as many neighbors that match that clue as possible (and post the screenshots), and whoever has the most tags related to that clue within the allotted timeframe (and each post will indicate what the timeframe is for tagging that particular building, but it will be a 24hr window from when that post goes live. This way you can’t tag the same neighbor twice..for that particular building) will be dubbed the Sky Finger Master of Tagging that particular building. (so, in this case, it would be Moe’s)
At the end of it all, whichever Addict has the most tags between all the buildings will be dubbed the TSTO Addicts Sky Finger Master Tagger! And you’ll win….
Your very own Skyfinger trophy!
Yes, a physical trophy (that looks like the one above) will be mailed to you for you to show off to all of your friends!
Now, I don’t want you to intentionally tag players who are on the do not vandalize list. So, use this post as a place to add friends who want to participate in this contest. So if you want to play, and/or want to get tagged add your username below.
I’m not limiting this to only those who have their username added here. Just doing that as a way for folks to add neighbors who want to play along, so they don’t have to worry about the tagging aspect.

Springfield Elementary
TownHall
Police Station
This contest is open to EVERYONE! Doesn’t matter where you live, what your age is, or anything else. Everyone can play along. No money is being given out…just a trophy.
Remember, you MUST post a screenshot to prove you tagged a player. Otherwise, that tag doesn’t count. Here’s a reminder about how to post screenshots.
Test out posting screenshots now. Go ahead and do it in this post if you’re not sure if you’ll be able to. If you’re having trouble with screenshots let me know. I’ll try to help you through it. Worst case scenario you can email the screenshots to me, BUT THIS MUST BE PREAPPROVED BY ME. So test it out first. If you’re still having trouble let me know in the comments here and we’ll discuss the best option. Unless pre-approved by me, all tagging submissions must be submitted via the comments on that particular post. (so screenshots of tags matching the Moe’s Clue go on the Moe’s post, Townhall on the Townhall post and so on)
Most tags overall will be the winner. In the event of a tie, I’ll go by timestamps on the comments. Whoever had the most tags the fastest will be the winner. So it’s important to not only tag a lot of buildings but to tag and post about them quickly.
Remember, this all kicks off TOMORROW, June 8th! So be sure to check Addicts throughout the day on Saturday for the 4 posts containing the taggable clues for each building!

If anyone is having trouble finding me in the game because the game’s search engine is, maybe, case-sensitive, here is how my username actually displays in the game:

I tried to add you based on that name (case sensitive and not) but no results showed up in game. I tried upper/lower, combos of variants (Garfield, Garfieldof) and saw some results but not you. Try adding me, not sure if privacy settings have anything to do with it but I didn’t receive any requests either.

I will see what I can do, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to add friends in the game with just their username because the game always asks me for an email address of the friend that I want to add.

As much as I would like to, I guess that I won’t be able to participate in this contest because I am not going to create an account with any of the “Big 3” image apps (unless I find it absolutely necessary in order to upload images to my own WordPress blog site) just so that I can post images into any of the comments sections of this site.
That being said, everyone who wants to use my Springfield as a tagging target, feel to do so. I will even try to make it easier for you guys to tag my buildings (including cleaning up my buildings as frequently as possible in the time allotted for the contest) just as long as doesn’t violate the contest rules. But watch out for the occasional Borg Nanoprobe (you can’t see them very well because they are so tiny, but there are so many of them that they are everywhere) when visiting my Springfield, otherwise you might get assimilated.

Should we put the buildings to where they’re harder to find?
Just a suggestion…if you have a “skin” on one of your taggables, you might want to put your buildings back into their original format for tomorrow. Some skins for Moe’s and the school make it hard (or impossible) to see the tag. I’m putting Moe’s and the school back to their original forms before I check out for the night.😴

Although I hardly ever get tagged by more than one of my neighbors, I have been able to see the tagging even with any of the alternate building skins enabled. But I will consider deactivating those skins if I think that my neighbors will have trouble with seeing their tags on my buildings.
Ah. This explains why tagging in my town has increased. Except is says it doesn’t start until tomorrow. 🤷♀️
