Let the games begin! After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield! Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions! Of course, a new event gives EA an excuse to stock our stores with returning premium content, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the returning Magic Academy Library (& Angelica Button), Blocko Store, Sequel Stop, Black Magic Hall, or Burns Dragon combo to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

So, this is pretty easy. Every item here is also available via the Yearbook Mystery Box, for significantly fewer donuts. (except the Blocko Store, that’s 30 donuts either way) The only item you should buy directly on this list is the Blocko Store if you don’t already have it. That way you eliminate the element of chance that you’ll get it out of the box. Otherwise, if you want any of these items, get them in the Yearbook Mystery Box. You’ll either save a bundle of donuts, or you’ll earn other items while trying to unlock them.

What Does It Do?: Check out the SIB post from 2017, linked above. Comes with some other, unlockable, decorations and has a short questline.
Opinion on it Now: It was a pass in 2017 and, even with donut farming, it’s still a pass today. It’s dumb, especially out of the event environment. Don’t waste donuts on this.

The Mystery Box gifted me the Magic Academy Library with Angelica Button (voiced), the Blocko Store, the Black Magic Hall (Alissa nailed it, why spend more sprinkles than necessary?).
The Sequel Stop is a Prize I’ve had since Christmas 2015 (why is it being offered up for this Event? It’s Gamer related). Burns Dragon and Pile of Treasure is still a nope (for me), but who knows what else will appear next after June 19 …. 😉

Just deleted 4 friends who had not played in over 6 months. I’ve had them as friends for a at least a couple of years.
People are giving up on this game.
Darn, I have all these things already. I mostly got them originally. I think I bought Sequel Stop when it was offered again, previously.
When my mom got burns dragon during the black Friday event she also got either wizard Bart, wizard lisa, or magic milhouse I don’t remember which one
The Burns Dragon also comes with Wizard Lisa if you don’t have her!
I got the Burns Dragon from the Black Friday mystery boxes for 30 donuts. It’s worth it for that price only, I think! 😀
My Blocko store shows it is 50 doughnuts and not 30. I went under the Games of Games category is that correct?
