Let the games begin! After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield! Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!
The Game of Games event follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Love, Springfieldian Style events followed. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 1, Act 1, we’re following Bart and Lisa’s quest for E4 passes. All of the prizes unlocked during week 1 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at the fifth, and final, prize this week, The Detonator…
The Detonator is a FULL Character for Springfield, and is part of the Game of Games Character Collection:

TheDetonator: I guess anything is better than selling Krusty tiles made out of dust bunnies.

I can’t seem to unlock the Detonator. Act 1 Part 5, seems to be stuck on 396/400 VIP passes no matter how many characters I send to tasks to try to finish the act. I’m sure I’ve exceeded by at least 24! Does anyone else has this issue? Is this a glitch?
I got The Detonator on Monday and he was more better than I thought he would’ve been. Other than a short questline, he has some decent visual tasks which are not the usual 4 and 8 hour visual combo that a lot of characters had last year, he has a 24 hour task at houses, his 8 hour task could’ve been at the E4 Convention Center and then have the Android Dungeon as the alternate location. It also would’ve been interesting to get an American Tile store to come with The Detonator. 🖽 🙂

Sorry if this has been covered already but I lost my email this past week and haven’t been here to read the posts.
Anyone experiencing the music in the game for this event finding it irritating and won’t shut off? I can’t hear the “find Maggie” suck sounds with it being so loud….for some reason it grates on my nerves. Is it just me? I don’t want to shut off the sound all together.
I’m having the same problem, it’s driving me nuts!!!!!!!😤😠. Very irritating have to play with volume off. And yes, can’t hear Maggie at all. It’s always something with EA. Lol. Basterd’s (in the voice of )
If I have not completed the quest, started late. I should get the detonator today but I do not think I will get it before week 2 starts.
Will I still be able to complete the week one quest, especially with week 2 starting today?

Be diligent with Act 2 / Week 2 later having at least one Premium Character will help (do not think of it as a growing checking in every 4 hours)👍

They’ll come back server glitch.
Usually when this happens, if I actually quit the game (on iOS double tap the Home button (if you have one, not sure on the newer phones without the button, or on Android, though I think that has a task button?) then swipe the application away, so it actually exits memory) and then restart it, my friends come back… only once did I have to wait an hour or so before it worked properly.
