Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow morning, Wednesday, June 19th, Week 2 (Act 2) of Game of Games will be starting. The official start time is 10am ET (1400 GMT).
While the Week 1 questline won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Week 2 starts, all of the Week 1 Premium items will be leaving the store.
So if you planned to purchase Blocko Angelica Button or any of the returning Premium Content, (SIBs linked) do so before they leave our games tomorrow morning.
Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Week 2 to start…
During Week 2 Homer will still be trying to secure more E4 Passes, and Bart’s esports team (The Evergreen Terrors) will play their first match. You’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but here are the characters needed for week 2 tasks:

Milhouse

Nelson
Rev. Lovejoy
CBG
Sophie Krustofsky (earns regular premium)
Blocko Angelica (Earns special premium)
New Premium Character Week 2 (Earns Special Premium)
You’ll also need Homer free for the initial questline objective…
There will also be one new premium costume introduced during week 2 (with a premium building), and that costume will be able to help with the currency earning for week 2. (150 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the character)
And that’s it my friends! Be prepared for Week 2 to start up tomorrow morning!

It is now Friday and I can’t seem to get week 2 to start. I’ve tried restarting the app (I’m on iPad only) and I’ve freed up Homer and I’ve tried checking the App Store for updates and opening through the App Store, and I’ve tried logging out and back in. Any ideas to make it start week two???

There is a bug come with update guys
After finding Maggie in repeatable quest I choose first 1 donut then 2 donut and finally 3 donut but the game give me 6 donut instead of 3
Has week 2 started? I finished wk 1 early this morning and nothing has come up for starting week 2 …anyone else? Xx

I was really hoping each week or at least some would be different format. Been cool to do the super hero battles again but as online characters or something. Just seems like after such a long hiatus the event wouldn’t be more of the same ole.
Again…new normal…EAsy, but lots of prizes.
Funny, I forgot to play this week. Even funnier since I visited this site almost daily. If I play twice more in the next 8 hours I will collect enough tickets to get the first prize of week 1. I’m glad the week 1 quest line doesn’t go away. I guess all that downtime really got me out of the habit of playing. Maybe now that I’ve broken the addiction I should stay quit rather then starting again, but what’s fun in that.
Ah…come on…you can quit anytime you want…right?
Oh I hope I hope I hope Dash Dingo is the free character for the next act! I played Crash Bandicoot OBSESSIVELY as a kid, so I’d love the Springfield version 😀 If he costs donuts I might have to bite the bullet and get him anyway! I’ve been saving my farmed donuts for a little while now just in case….

Random question anytime I seem to log in to the game it always tells me I logged in somewhere else my progress might be lost then makes me download 1600 mb of content it’s getting annoying… has anyone else experienced this
That’s usually an issue related to low storage space on your device. Free space needs vary by the specific type of device you’re using (and, to a lesser degree, on OS), but I play on an iPad, and I usually need at least 5.5GB of free space to not run into this problem.
Do you use more than one device?
No only one device an iPad and it’s the only thing really on there but if I play and then don’t come back in a couple hours it does it all over again asks me to confirm my age accept the terms says I was playing on another device and progress might be lost then says needs to download content every single time I try to play the game
You are short of memory. Clear off some of your pictures or unused apps. It doesn’t have enough memory to load/save your progress
I’m not even up to the 3rd prize for week one… I can only see the issue compounding as the weeks go on. I’m resigned to the fact that I won’t be completing an event for the first time since 2012.
Two questions:
1.) Do you donut farm?
2.) How many donuts do you have?
3.) Did you buy (and/or do you have) any of the premium characters (e.g. Angelica Button)?
If you have either the Sophie Krustofsky or Blocko Angelica Button characters, they will earn either 10 or 12 VIP passes (respectively), while the regular characters will only earn 8 VIP passes.
If you have the donuts, and you’re close to accomplishing your goal (e.g. 200, 250, or 300 VIP passes), it might just be worth it to let your best premium character do the heavy lifting.
I bought Blocko Angelica Button (BAB), so one night I was close to the next goal (within 50 VIP passes), but I got tired and didn’t want to wait up until the end of the 4-hour cycle… so I used BAB and sped her task to get me over the hump.
It’s only 2 donuts to speed *any* of the characters’ tasks, regardless of whether they’re earning 8, 10, or 12 VIP passes, so it only makes mathematical sense to speed your highest-earning character.
I haven’t farmed in a While as I was redesigning during the last downtime, so I’m down to about 100 donuts. I should start farming again… Hahaha maybe. I haven’t decided if I actually care enough to speed it up this event.
You still have 3 weeks to finish Act 1 as they roll over. As do week 2 and 3… Usually the final week is a lot simpler to complete in time too. Don’t panic 👌
Also, the characters that earn currency differ from act to act, therefore the quests are not mutually exclusive
How??? I finished Saturday.Yes…I logged in five times a day…but not sure how you are missing targets. Bu5 remember…act one continues after act II starts…so keep grinding.
I forgot to log in a couple of times, but it doesn’t feel like it was often enough to get this far behind. I don’t know how I fell so far behind. Ah well, I’m not too concerned. I’ll just miss out on a few prizes, I guess?

Week one was pretty good, look forward to week 2. Just glad we have some tapping and gameplay to do if I’m honest seeing as the 8-10 week lull had me going bonkers.
Week 1 (or Act 1, if you want to call it that) was Fun
I completed it in 4 Days , Weekends off from Tapping
The Prizes weren’t Bad (we got enough of Everything)
One Premium (Blocko Angelica Button – not voiced) a Nope
The returned Premiums are found in Mystery Box
Why waste sprinkles spending more ?
