Let the games begin! After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield! Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!
The Game of Games follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Valentine’s Day events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 2 we are tasked with following the story of the first match played by the Evergreen Terrors! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the second part of the story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Week 2 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version of the Wild Wild Quest…

The prizes look good in this act. The display will look good in my E4 area with the flower cart, the Mapple HQ will look good with Atlantis, the island looks nice and I hope it can go in the ocean, the farm looks cool if there are any elves with it and it has been a while since there was a costume for Krusty though I’d like to see the visual tasks he has.
I completed Wild Wild Quest Pt. 1 but Mapple HQ remains locked. So no auto start for Pt. 2 for me 🤷♀️

So, we have less characters available for this round because 1) Blocko Angelica is not functioning as EA said & 2) you have to decide whether to use Nelson or his skin SmellyaL8R, can’t use them both at the same time.
Ah well, I was able to complete week 1 2 days early & it started the same day I was in the hospital having surgery.
Rip. Off. The direct misleading from EA bothers me much more than the other dysfunctions which seemed like they were at least trying. Perhaps they just don’t care. If EA’s willing to advertise a skin as a full character, I’m willing to reconsider if i feel like continuing to play the game at all.
Just bought Smellyal8ter cuz he was advertised as an additional character that can earn event currency. I already had Nelson working the event. Can’t do anything with Smellyal8ter. Wasted 150 donuts. Save yourselves.
The outrage, and can I saw over-reaction to this is kinds hilarious. Yes…they were a little less upfront about labeling. But, the REAL revenge is not to quit, but to donut farm. Then, quibbling over “value” is passé.

Thanks. Had the old prostate removed by a robot, so I was up and about pretty much the next day & was home by Thursday evening. Only thing left is to remove the dang tube they’ve got connected & that comes out tomorrow. So I’m confident, along with me beating the cancer, that I can get act 2 done in the allotted time(I did get Sophie from the yearbook a few weeks back, so I can use the 9 characters in the 4 hr grind)…of course, the beating cancer part is much more important, in the scheme of things, to a silly, tapping game.
Is anyone else stuck on level one I have the Evergreen Terrace portion and Lisa cheering, but cannot gain access to the cartridges task. There is no scroll ability. What can I do?

So far, I can’t offer an opinion on 2 Buildings, 2 Decorations, 1 Character Skin (I have to see how they are when I obtain them). EA does have a reputation for letting down Tappers with each Act / Week after the 1st (ie the Prizes start to suck, you don’t want to try obtaining them), but I’m willing to let “zero expectation” remind me that regardless I’m going to have fun! 😊
