Game of Games: Week 1 Questline E4 No Access Pass

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Let the games begin!  After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield!  Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!

The Game of Games follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Valentine’s Day events before it.  This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

For Act 1 we’re tasked with finding passes for E4!  Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the first part of the story. As we should all know by now, these multi-events lead to some phenomenal dialogue.  So let’s take a look at the full dialogue for week 1, in case you missed any of it by tappin’ too fast…

As a reminder, here’s the story’s synopsis:

Bart and Lisa win passes to this year’s E4 Game Expo and Game of Games Esport contest but Homer
loses them when he tries to use them to get into Moe’s VIP section. Homer tries to get the passes back,
but Moe has already sold them for profit.

The kids must find another way to get in and register for the Game of Games. The kids take part in a
scavenger hunt hosted by Comic Book Guy with E4 passes as the grand prize. Bart is vicorous and wins
two E4 passes, one of which he gives to Lisa so they can both attend E4. Once they get to the expo, they
find out that they need to be accompanied by an adult, so Bart goes off to find the one adult in town
that can supervise the kids, The Detonator!

Now on with the story!

Game of Games Pt. 1
Autostarts

Lisa: Homer, what did you do with our passes to E4?
Bart: Yeah, Dad, we gave them to you because you’re the only one with a neck fat enough to hang all the lanyards around.
Homer: Moe said if I gave them to him, I could use his VIP section.
Marge: Moe’s “VIP section” is just the broom closet where he puts his empty kegs.
Homer: Fine, I’ll get your passes back. And by the way, no keg is empty if you suck on it hard enough.

Make Lisa Look for Replacement Passes Online- 6s
Make Bart Search Parents’ Room for Passes-

Moe: Sorry pal. I already sold those E4 passes to some shadowy underworld figures. I would’ve sold them to well-lit overworld figures, but I never meet anyone like that!
Homer: Moe, I need those badges back. I’m facing a man’s worst nightmare: angry, resentful children.
Moe: I’ll do what I can. But it’s gonna cost ya.
Homer: I’ll pay you five coupons for Moe’s VIP Room.
Moe: That worthless crap? I need money.

Bart: I can’t go. My idiot father lost our E4 passes.
Nelson: No problem. We’ll just beat up some nerds and take their passes.
Lisa: Nelson, you do realize that if you’re going to E4, that makes *you* a nerd.

Lisa: Can do!
Bart: Can’t do. This challenge is just for our esports team, the Evergreen Terrors.

E4 No Access Pass Pt. 4

Milhouse: I found the Golden Blocko. I can do anything for you, Lisa.
CBG: Fine! It is but the first of many challenges in my scavenger hunt. At least, that was my intent. In the end, however, I could only think up one more challenge. To complete the second and final challenge, you must slay a dragon!
Bart: Can I use a bazooka?
CBG: No, but if you like, I have Bazooka Gum for sale.
Make Bart Slay a Dragon- 4hrs

Bart: I should’ve known the dragon would be lame.
Blocko Dragon: I am not lame! I’m scary and terrifying! And lame in one foot.

Milhouse: We could take my dad’s trench coat and stand on each other’s shoulders!
Bart: Your dad’s trench coat smells like loser. I have a better idea.

  1. act 2 just started!

  2. Does anyone know when act 2 starts? It said the 19th, but I don‘t have it yet.

  3. Dialogue was spot on for every Character (and talking Decor)🤣 👍

Act 1 / Week 1 definitely reminded me how clever that Simpson’s Episode lampooned egaming (playfully, nothing too harsh). I have no complaints about the Prizes (even though I wouldn’t mind more “Blocko” Decor to help enhance my Blockoland). Bring on Act 2 / Week 2!😀👍

  4. Thanks for posting these. In the heat of tapping (feeling like I’m working against time to meet the event deadlines) I don’t read carefully. When I do read carefully then there’s a day or 2 between dialogue, I lose where I am in story. I like catching up with the jokes and the story here because the writing is pretty good and I don’t like feeling like I have to tap asap to save a few seconds but that’s where I am!

  5. Still not working on kindle.

  6. Thanks Alissa! I liked this week’s questline 🙂
