Let the games begin! After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield! Act 3 of Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!
The Game of Games event follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Love, Springfieldian Style events followed. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 3, Act 3, we’re following the Evergreen Terrors through another round of gaming competition, and a new villain suddenly appears. All of the prizes unlocked during week 3 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at the third and fourth prizes this week the Guts of War Statue and Furious Fliers…
First up, prize 3, Guts of War Statue…

Both of these decorations went in my E4 area and between the two the Furious Fliers is better. At least it has an animation and the Guts of War Statue has a bug with it when its facing the ocean which the green squares don’t move when the statue is rotated. I was hoping the Furious Fliers would’ve been bigger and came with a children’s hospital construction site but its still a decent decoration.
Guts of War is next to my radioactive man film set and Springfield (Hollywood) sign. Smashing entertainment theme going on here.
Well neither of these really fit with the E4 building, I put the Guts of War stand up next to Ned’s Smokehouse 5 alarm chili stand. Fits well there. The Furious Fliers is in with my games of chance at that great catch all- Krustyland.
The Happy Elves Farm went into the North Pole. Mapple HQ along with Storm Island’s on the water so it’s another hodge podge of decorations here and there. But that’s ok.
For an event based on gaming this one is pretty boring. Send everyone on a 4 hour task and come back 4 hours later. Yawn. They should’ve put some sort of game into it like the casino event did. I’m also bored with the theme. Didn’t they already do a world of warcraft type thing? Isn’t this the same theme? The Bart Simpson I am a fan of is not a professional gamer. He plays Escape from Grandma’s House and Bonestorm.

I’m thankful Week 3 / Act 3 gave us 2 new Characters and 1 funny Premium Character (Mr. Dirt)! ☺️
Let’s hope Week 4 / Act 4 doesn’t suck (ie all Decor and Skins, no Buildings or Characters!)
Glad to have an event, but these decorations are meh…will look for a place to put them, but seems likely they will end up in storage.

I put the Guts guy by my arcade and the furious fliers in my zoo. Whatever. May end up in storage…. Still happy to have new stuff even if it borders on lame. Did i mention how happy i am to have dash dingo. He’s awesome!😀👍
