Game of Games: Week 3 Questlines, Premium Character Mr. Dirt

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Let the games begin!  After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield!  Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!

Game of Games follows the same multi-event structure that Christmas 2018 and Valentine’s Day 2019 followed.  This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

With Act 3 (week 3) one new premium costume arrived in Springfield, Mr. Dirt an all-new character for Springfield.  In addition to helping with event currency, Mr. Dirt also came equipped with his own, short, individual questline, so let’s take a look at the full dialogue questline…

 

Hunger of the Heart Pt. 1
Mr. Dirt starts

Mr. Dirt: Greetings, Lisa!
Lisa : Milhouse, what are you doing in that ridiculous outfit?
Mr. Dirt: I’m not Milhouse, I’m the miraculous Mr. Dirt! A mighty video game level boss. But if this Milhouse looks like me, he’s a lucky boy. And I’ll tell you all about me in true level-boss style: a song and dance.
Make Mr. Dirt Perform a Musical Performance About Himself- 8hrs, Earns $420, 105xp

Hunger of the Heart Pt. 2
Mr. Dirt starts

Lisa: That was exhausting, Mr. Dirt. You just sang and danced for eight hours!
Mr. Dirt: I never get tired. The only way to get rid of me is to destroy me.
Lisa: If I wanted to do that, just asking, how do I do it?
Mr. Dirt: I’m starting to get the impression you don’t like me very much.
Lisa: Does that bother you?
Mr. Dirt: Nothing bothers me except being destroyed.
Make Mr. Dirt Teleport- 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp

Hunger of the Heart Pt. 3
Mr. Dirt starts

Mr. Dirt: Lisa, how would you like to be my level queen. We could rule my level, and travel the galaxy eating civilizations together.
Lisa: Uh, I would but I promised Mom I wouldn’t snack before dinner.
Mr. Dirt: That’s fine. Everything is fine for Mr. Dirt. Until he’s destroyed.
Make Mr. Dirt Satisfy the Hunger- 12hrs, Earns $600, 150xp

And this concludes the premium questline for Week 3 of Game of Games.

    I thought that Mr. Dirt would give currency for the entire event. That is why I got him. Unfortunately I found out today that he does not. He is a funny character and worth 75 doughnuts, but I had hoped he would help for week 4 as well.

    Worth the 75 sprinkles even if I did not need a Premium Character to complete Week 3 / Act 3 (it’s surprising and nice of EA to offer up Premiums under 100 🍩’s) 😀👍

    Has anybody else had items from this event disappear? I’m missing E4 Convention Center, Blockoland, Earthland Realms Block Dragon,Flower Cart of Love , Mapple HQ, Happy Little Elves Farm, and Snowboarder Display. I have the characters and the Stormy Island. I got them all but those have now disappeared. I asked EA but they said It seems that you are facing the bug related issue in the game. I’ve forwarded your concern to the studio team so that they can investigate this further and take the corrective actions to make tournament rewards consistent.

    At the same time, I would request you to please post this on The Simpsons: Tapped Out forum. The more people you get to talk about your query, the more the developers will take notice.

    So frustrating. Anybody else?

      If you are a victim of the “rollback” bug , posting on the Official Forum may help, but I’ve learned fellow Tappers have needed to speak to EA Customer Service and try to find one who understand your frustration enough to offer up free 🍩’s as compensation.

      Believe me this “rollback” bug needs to be fixed by EA, as it has been frustrating enough for Tappers that they leave the Game App (I truly hope you are given better assistance if you keep trying to speak to EA customer service)
