Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow morning, Wednesday, July 3rd, Week 4 (Act 4) of Game of Games will be starting. The official start time is 10am ET (1400 GMT).
While the Week 3 (or weeks 1 or 2 for that matter) questline won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Week 4 starts, all of the Week 3 Premium items will be leaving the store.
So if you planned to purchase Mr. Dirt or any of the returning Premium Content, (SIBs linked) do so before they leave our games tomorrow morning.
Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Week 4 to start…
During Week 4 Homer FINALLY secures the E4 Passes, only to discover the kids already found their own way in. And of course, The Evergreen Terrors compete in the final round of the gaming tournament…while still battling Report Card. (who seems hell-bent on destroying Bart) You’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but here are the characters needed for week 4 tasks:
Homer
Lisa
Bart
Milhouse
Martin
Nelson
Apu
Cletus
Sophie Krustofsky (earns regular premium)
New Premium Character Week 4 (Earns Special Premium)
You’ll also need Homer and Marge free for the initial questline objective…
There will also be one new premium stand-alone Character (at least according to the files it’s a character) introduced during week 4, and that character will be able to help with the currency earning for week 4. (75 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the character)
And that’s it my friends! Be prepared for Week 4 to start up tomorrow morning!

I was done with the Act yesterday. Actually earlier then the previous acts.
And then I got stuck in my math-head with the KEM farming. Do you ever get that?
I level up atleast 15 times everytime I play. Playing 4 times a day means 60 level ups a day. That comes to over 1800 level ups a month (except february ofcourse). And the way I play it settle for 2 or 3 donuts everytime. So that’s between 3600 and 5400 donuts a month. It will probably be near 4500, all while keeping my credits above 10m.
Now I have my xp collider filled up and I have decided I don’t need to keep KEM farming when it runs out since I only need donuts for the new events and maybe the vault (yearbook and all others are already done). So by the time the xp collider runs out, starting with the 1700 donuts I had, I should be around 7700 donuts.
Boy, it is busy in my head sometimes.
Well, I just spend 230 donuts so it might be a bit less.

I must be missing something.
The Splash Screen has Homer in boots and work clothes parachuting. There are characters with goggles. It feels almost 1870’s, I’ve been working on the railroad?
I’m not seeing the connection?

This may have been brought up before, but it’s infuriating that the same characters are used for everything. You can’t move on to act three because it’s all the same characters as act two. What’s the point of having over 100 characters if the same 7 or 8 are going to be used in every challenge? I’m getting bored with this game because of this. I can’t finish any challenges because the characters are always busy. I know the point of the game makers is for me to spend money, but I’ve already spent money on dozens of premium characters that are never used!!!!!😡
I feel the same. And often the character you get at the end of an act is never ever used again!
It’s a fragile balance. If the list of available characters to send to collect currency was indeed immutable, it wouldn’t be possible to advance in more than an act at the same time (this is not the case, as I saw a turn over of characters, like Rev. Lovejoy, CBG, Lenny, Carl etc.).
Having completely different characters per act would be nice, but totally unfeasible for newest players, which may have unlocked as much as 10 or 15 characters in total, and as a consequence, most of the “intersection” characters are the one to be unlocked (Homer, Lisa, Bart, Milhouse) and not those who require an higher level (Lunchlady Dora, Ziff, Fat Tony, just few examples).
Summing it up, frustrating as it may be, it’s the lesser evil, in the grand scheme 🙂

I’m not going to let lame Event Prizes (ie dumb Decor) get the best of me, I’m looking forward to Characters and Buildings as Event Prizes (even put aside 🍩’s in case a Gil Deal shows up)

Usually you have the chance to finish everything after the last week is done. Not sure how long you will have though.

When an Event Prize is lame, it can stop your motivation for Tapping (in the end? I just try to be humble getting the good Event Prizes – Characters and Buildings – with a decent Premium) maybe we will get a 4th of July Gil Deal, which means save your 🍩’s 😉👍
I suppose compared to what we have been accustomed too over the last few years, yes it is lame. However it’s better than not having a game at all.
Thought the island with the tornadoes was pretty cool though.
Nah, first act and second act had nice rewards, third is a bit lame. Let’s see what the fourth brings us.
I’m ok with the event. I try and go by the motto that anything is better than nothing, and nothing isn’t really that bad. Almost 10am EST. Have a good day everyone.
I think I will just finish act 3 in time. Work has been busy so missing some 4hr check in’s .
