Let the games begin! After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield! Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!
The Game of Games follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Valentine’s Day events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 4 Homer has finally secured E4 tickets, but it’s too late the kids have been E4 for weeks! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the fourth part of the story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Week 4 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version of Fourscore and a Halfmonth…

I think this entire event series is lame but i’m trying to rebuild my Springfield based off of the map that was created awhile back and therefore the show up until 2015. I want actual buildings from the map. There are so many missing in this game. After this event im going to hide all buildings but that’s also because when I nuked my town I lost 6 items from this event. EA says they can’t give them back either. 🤷♂️
Hmmm. I have the crowd of gamers in the store for 10 donuts. Unlocking prizes have usually been offered for cash before. Why donuts now?? Ughh and Happy 4th to all!!
1st – have a Happy 4th of July Alissa (thank you for the quick updates posted)
2nd – are the One Character, One Character Skin, One Building worth Tasking for? Or, can a Tapper skip ’em and concentrate Farming 🍩’s for new Premiums / existing Premiums instead? (we have choices, I would like everyone’s opinion, because the Decor Prizes since Act 1 / Week 1 have been “meh” to me, even though I found the dialogue during this event some of the best from the writers and I did appreciate those Buildings / Characters Event Prizes)
Yes, EA, when the Event Prizes are “meh” ? there’s no motivation to Tap for them (but hey, I can’t believe I’m saying this …. I miss having a Gil Deal option, go figure). 🤔
the only down side to not finishing the quest is that ea has been letting quests be finished after the end date. it could be on your task bar forever. I ran into that with my b & c games so I quit playing them. the prizes are definately meh – the furious fliers is the best
Along with having the questline in your task book after the event has ended, you could also risk having the prizes costing donuts or put in a mystery box if they’re ever re-released and become premium. I still have a questline from Christmas in my anonymous town.
The prizes don’t seem bad this time since the first and last ones could go with the arena in Act 2 if you bought it, another type of crowd to put around your town even though extras cost donuts (if you’re farming then it shouldn’t be a problem getting donuts), a character and costume both will probably come with their own questlines (likely 3 parts).
I was surprised that there wasn’t a Gil deal in this event and Blocko Angelica Button could of been the deal for him to push which she could’ve then helped with all four acts. Happy 4th of July.
